Threading fun!
All the grandchildren love this toy. It provides a solid base for them to master the skill of threading. Replaced some cardboard threaders that kept tearing. Bright colours and so far no holes broken.

Boys would probably like the transport shapes
This was an unexpected success. Threading the strings around the car/plane/boat/engine kept the 2 boys (nearly 5 & 7) engrossed for a LONG time. You need to tie a small knot in the very end of the strings so it doesn't pull through but not too big or away from the end or there won't be enough string to complete all the holes. I expect the strings will wear eventually (hence the 4*) but I wholly recommend this activity.

Sturdy, but didn’t get one of each shape
The product looks sturdy, but I was sent two cars, plus a plane and train. I was expecting one of each ship: car, plane, train and boat.
