Using this cookbook since several months, as I needed to give a healthier hint to my cooking style... great mostly for dinners and happy hours with friends at my place, people really enjoy all colorful and tasty dips - appreciating the fact that most of them are veg based. Aside, they are quick to make, so it's good also when I have just few time to stay in the kitchen.

I bought this book on a whim because I liked the idea of dips made from healthier and more interesting ingredients. We have an awful lot of potlucks at work and there are usually too many sweet things. It turned out to be a great purchase and a few of my coworkers have since bought it too because they liked the dips I make so much. I had to go to ethnic stores for a few ingredients (Harissa, pomegranate molasses) but there are plenty of recipes that use easier to find items but still put a twist on them. The book also offers suggestions for serving and substitutes. Highly recommended.

I've tried at least 4 recipes so far, and they were all a hit. Good photos. Its small format makes is a little inconvenient though.
