Okay so, these came on time and I installed them onto the side of my shed. My plan is to use this solar system to power my shed and also charge my Husqvarna robotic mower, which is not yet set up. If I can, I will set the mower to charge all morning and start cutting around 2pm. Come back and charge and go back out and mow the grass after dark.There were NO instructions, so I had to come back here and look at the pictures. I'd already watched a million solar-themed YouTube videos, so I was mostly prepared. Mostly. Anyway, looking at the pictures here aided me in the installation. But really, major lost star because of this oversight.I get a crazy amount of sunlight in my yard, so not being able to use the shed's roof doesn't disappoint me. On a very cloudy day around 3pm in the dead of fall, my panels were bringing in about 13/14 volts. On days like that, I expect the mower to either take the day off or, if it charged well the day before, I'll make no changes. I expect the deep cycle battery to hold a great charge.It's a daunting project. But when you start and get a rhythm going, you'll be done with the setup in no time. I'd say I did this going in blind for about 3 hours and it was all up and running. If your connections are right, the charge controller will display a happy and extremely satisfying smiley face.I'm hurting for sun since setting up my system, but I'll come back and update after a very sunny day. You already know what it can look like on cloudy afternoons now. Overall, I'm happy. And after watching a video on Rich Solar being a quality company, I have high hopes.Okay bye.

The media could not be loaded.  I started with this kit to learn about solar power and the most I've ever seen it absorb is 14.5 Watts / 5.3 Amps for a total of 76.9 Watts. Normally it's lower than that on average. I've had some trouble with the charge controller cutting off output power but after research I realize it's a cheapo controller. If someone is reading this and just starting to get into solar, please do your research since it might be better to kick down more cash and get the kit with the MPPT controller instead. Cheers.

I have installed multiple solar kits either designed by myself or pre-assembled like this kit. The panels look to be good quality, the brackets are well made and have a nice anodized finish. Wiring looks to be of high quality.Unfortunately I don't believe the controller i recieved is functioning properly, and the complete lack of an accurate manual is very frustrating. The incomplete directions are useless.I am unable to find any link to tech support so I guess the only option is to return?

The solar panel seems to be well constructed, but I can't tell if the controller is working. Pressing the MENU button does nothing. I short press it, or hold it down for 30 seconds. Still nothing. Pressing the SET button turns the DC output on and off. That's it. The instructions say "one-way circulation is performed by pressing MENU." I assume that means you can scroll through the options with the button. It says pressing both buttons resets the controller. Nothing happens. I'll update if I get anything to make sense.Update - After a few days of fiddling with the buttons, I figured out if you press the far right edge of the MENU button with your fingernail, it works. I'm assuming the visible button is just a cap, and the physical button is inside, mounted on the board. The screw holes and terminals are out of alignment, so the circuit board is obviously skewed. Still uncertain if it's working, as the battery never stops charging.

I find this product to be of good quality and workmanship. No problems on installation and output is good on each panel. I have installed over 20 panels so far and no complaints.

Generates 90 watts (13.8V @ 6.5A) at my fixed 32 deg roof angle in September here in Maine where optimum angle varies from 20 to 58 degrees by season - be sure to check for your latitude. Cables provided are longer than comparable amazon offerings. USB ports charge my phone as fast as the charger that came with it. I'm able to mow with electric corded mower for an hour using 100Ah deep cycle battery and inverter I had collecting dust. Recharges in one day if it's sunny. PWM controller documentation is minimal as is tech support.Update: USB ports worked the first time I tested them but then went offline. Tech support recommended disconnecting all cables but ports only work for a day and then fail again. They reported that replacement controller was a waste of time because 'they all do that'. They refused to credit me for the controller and I was not going to climb on my roof to retrieve the panel for a full refund. I bought a new Renogy controller which has worked perfectly. This kit+Renogy controller that works ended up costing me more than similar Renogy kit, so Rich Solar is no bargain.

We researched many providers of solar kits for the home. We did not want to sell the solar produced electric back to our electric company, rather store it in solar rated batteries for emergency use and slowly retiring our home room by room from the current electric grid. We choose this provider as they offer a solar system that we could experiment with and learn about sun power. Kinda of a grow your own solar system! We have things to learn about solar and wind power systems, we are utilizing these solar kits to build our complete system. This company has provided us with a product that is as advertised, delivered as promised, and that is why we purchase additional kits when we can. Our solar and wind generated system is expandable as we need and can afford to do so. Yes, we are also experimenting with wind power electrical generation to provide and store for emergency and needed use. If the wind blows and or the sun shines we will capture for further use what nature will provide.
