ROCKYRetraction Waterproof 800G Insulated Outdoor Boot

I purchased these to replace a 20-year-old pair of Rockies. I use them in subfreezing weather with snow on the ground and they neither leaked nor did my feet get cold. The insulation in them is not too heavy, and my feet were able to breathe and did not sweat. Additionally, the laces are nice and tight and make for good ankle bracing. The boot itself is really flexible and does not rub your feet or create any sore points. Overall, very satisfied with this pair of boots.

First time out in the woods with these and no issues at all. They didn’t need to be broken in, comfortable go walk in during drives through the PA mountains & kept my feet warm and dry. I was leery about these because the pair of LaCrosse that I had lasted 22 years of hunting. But, these seem to fill the slot so far.

Currently awaiting the sun to rise (deer season) and just thinking to myself "God Dang am I HAPPY with said $135 purchase" Not much of a "reviewer" but these are safe to say legit for FALL weather; snow is present & Temps are freezing. No issue nor complaint. These bad boys fit SNUG and are warm !Would definitely recommend for bow into early rifel....Northern Woods Approved !Toe box and traction are on point.Wouldn't suggest for winter, I'd shoot for a 1000 gram Insulate boot. These are NOT GORTEX so they will NOT be water tight nor even properly insulated for extreme abuse. Excellent pair of boots they run true to size. speed laces are rounded plastic so your laces won't get tore up and fray. wore them hunting in northeast PA 30- degrees in the snow, walked through 5'' deep creeks, mud, walked up steep mountains, 6 hours of continuous walking feet never felt fatigued. they took everything I threw at them. feet stayed dry and warm. I used thermal socks with them and feet started sweating a little (probably could have gotten away with normal knee socks) Best pair of boots I've ever owned. if you're on the fence get them and try them you won't be disappointed.

Can’t ask for a better hunting boot. Had my first pair for 10 years. Had to buy them again.

Excellent cold-weather boot. Especially in low activity environments excellent traction in the elements.

I wear a 7.5 boot so the larger fit is expected. This boot only comes in a size 8 and up, I will just wear thicker socks. After testing this boot in 40 degree weather for over an hour my feet were TOASTY warm. I know that these are a Cold weather boot, my feet get really cold due to an accident and I need the extra warmth. These will handle any weather and at 0 degrees these will work great. These are Very well made and the reviews are very good for this brand and this boot. I would recommend this brand, and this boot to anyone that needs a Higher quality boot and when on sale they cost me MUCH Less than other cheaper boots. I will from now on purchase Rocky shoes, boots, etc. and I know I will always get the best quality that I can afford, (And that I need)!Do yourself a favor and spend the money and you will understand what a Great brand this is.

These were purchased as a gift well in advance of Christmas and while the buyer trusted the 100% waterproof claim on the Amazon site, the warranty fine print hardly suggests "waterproof" if the it only warranties against manufacturer defect for 6 - 12 months. The language in Rocky's warranty makes it seem like "water resistant" is a better description. If you read the reviews at Rocky's page for this particular boot, most of the complaints are specifically on missing it with being waterproof.I'll be more careful to find a boot that is specifically waterproofed through the use of GoreTex. While these boots are comfortable, I would avoid then if you are looking for something you can stand in a shallow puddle for more than a step through. I will not be purchasing this brand again.

Bought these for my husband to hunt with and he says they are amazing- walked in mud and water and barely got socks wet, from over top of boot! And they dried out quickly. Friend says he has had his for 20 years and still work well.
