I'm not afraid to mix my owns spices, and I'm usually pretty good at "Mexican" flavors. However, some nights you're just in a hurry and you want to dump your protein in a pan with an pack of pre-measured spices to cook while you wrestle with your kids and their awful, awful homework.This is a solid seasoning mix, and while I've used it about 3 times already, I've not actually used it with steak: I've used it in my taco soup, with ground beef, and even with chicken. In all 3 cases, it was great! This is different than the usual McCormick taco seasoning in that it's a bit milder, less salty, and it has a slightly more "natural" coloring once your meal is finished. The taco version is just more orange.Again, this is a great product to keep in your spice pantry for busy nights.

I decided to give this a try (always have used other store brands) but the flavor on this one is amazing! My family has made the switch to this seasoning whenever we make fajitas or chicken taco soup :)

This was very flavorful with a mild level of heat not overly spicy hot. I love the flavor, would buy this again.

We received only ONE package for $6.30......NOT 12. It also says ineligible for return. We got screwed!! Don't buy!!!!!! One star is too many! We bought from Colorful Closet.
