what size drill bit do you need to install this into porcelain tile?

Depends on the size screw and anchor you use. I like to use the little plastic anchors and cut the flange off so the anchor sits flush against the tile. The anchors usually tell you the size of the hole on the packaging. don't go too fast or push too hard or you will crack your tile. Keep the bit cool with a small cup of water you can dip the bit in. Hope that helps.

What size is the opening that holds the shower head? Looking for a diameter.

I don’t know much about this thinks

When the shower head is in the holder, can its direction be adjusted up and down?

NO. As stated, it’s a holder only

This is so dumb that you won't ship this to California? This doesn't have any restrictions since it obviously does not have water flowing through it.

I live in California and they shipped it. Your right it just holds the hose.

Description measurements were not clear so of no use. It's too small and cheap plastic. Description also implied I could just adhere to tiles - I'm not going to insert new drill holes into my tiles for a plastic trinket ('in Chrome" means coloured chrome obviously) worth about 80c. Binned.

Very nice, easy to fit, but not quite the same shade as one I purchased from local bathroom supplier. The two are installed close together so I can see the difference but it does the job it's supposed to - well!

Support douchette de remplacement GROHE parfait. 👌 Correspond super bien aux 2 trous d'origine avec écartement réglable de 25 à 30 mn donc pas besoin de repercer dans la faïence de la salle de bain. Merci 🙏
