Animal Friends Soft Book Panel Cream, Fabric by the Yard

Beautiful pictures and good instructions were the start of a marvelous, handmade book. I embellished a bit with creative silk stitches, a collar for the dog, some yellow feathers for the ducks, a flower for the pig and lamb and a rein for the colt. Also, I didnt have batting for between the pages, but found that a good quality felt worked nicely. 't was a special gift to give to my daughter and new grandson.

I love the product but when I saw the printing on the side of the piece was not happy. It is for personal use only. Why do they not mention this to you when you are buying a product. It should be right up front - now I have a lovely piece which I can't use. I sell my work at a wonderful place where I have a studio. There are about 75 different skilled work people who sell their arts.

This panel made an adorable book for my granddaughter. She is learning the sounds animals make and this reinforces her learning with cute pictures and the words for the sounds. She loves it. It was easy to make although I wish the instructions had given more info on the type of batting to use. I just found something in my stash that was soft but had some stiffness and it worked great. Very cute!

The panel with the book pages looks good. I am planning to quilt the pages. It is meant as a present for a baby shower. I have done this with another cloth picture book so it should work. (Had no time to do it yet though)
