Can I use a medium refill for this pen?

Waterman-brand rollerball refills only come in "Fine" (which I would actually call "Medium to Bold"). However, this pen will also accept Pilot G-2 gel refills with no modification, and also works with Uni-Ball Jetstream, Uni-Ball Signo 207/307, or Pentel EnerGel refills if you trim a mm or so of plastic from the end of the refill. You can install your preferred point size of any of these alternative refills.

Can the pen be engraved?

Yes - I had three of them engraved as gifts and they look fantastic

Will pentel energel refills work?

Hi Minerva, this is Ivana from Waterman Consumer Care. Thank you for contacting us regarding our Waterman Hemisphere Black Rollerball Pen CT. Please be advised that we have never tested other brands' refills on our pens, additionally, we do not recommend the use of non Waterman refills on our products.
