Delta Enterprise Corp Silverton 4 In 1 Crib, Dark Cherry (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

I received our crib today. Our baby boy is due in 12 weeks, and I wanted his nursery ready in plenty of time. I chose the cherry espresso finish because I think the stain will grow with him the best and will hopefully last through his teenage years. If not, for the price, no big deal. There is a minor dent on the front that I'm a little bummed about, but it really isn't that noticeable against the dark stain. There's a chip on the inside left side panel, but again, not that noticeable.My husband is deployed, so I had to put the crib together myself. It was very easy, after a minor mishap, and only took me 45 minutes. That said, make sure you have a screwdriver with an Allen wrench attachment, because it will take MUCH longer and be very frustrating if you have to use the little hex tool provided (which you do need for 4 bolts - attaching the front to the side rails at the very end. I swear that took half the time of assembling the entire rest of the crib!).Now for the annoying part. I got all of the pieces out of the box, and there were no instructions. No big deal, you can find them online. However, the instructions on Delta's website list hardware that is not included. I assumed it was missing. Frustrated, I went to Home Depot to see if I could find what I needed. No such luck. I get home and was going to call Delta to get the hardware, when I realized that the warning poster attached to the mattress support spring is actually an envelope. And of course, therein lies the instruction book. Also, the instructions online are wrong, and list additional hardware that is not necessary. Cue annoyance for the trip to Home Depot for nothing.So, make sure you look in the warning label envelop! It's not overly obvious that the instructions are in there. Assuming it was just a standard federal warning, I didn't bother looking at it. So, mostly my fault, but it would be nice if it were more obvious or the instructions were just laying in the box as with most assembly-required products. The crib gets 4 stars for quality. It really is beautiful.

After searching for the perfect white crib for my baby boy's nursery & Babie's R' Us out of stock in every crib I adored, I began searching for an alternative & I'm EXTREMELY happy I chose this crib! I was so skeptical about buying online for the first couple of months of my pregnancy since this is my first time buying a crib & I wanted to be able to see it in person & feel it. Not to mention, the price range was so different compared to those that I wanted from Babies R' Us, I wondered if it was a cheap product. I decided to take the risk & believe me, I'm glad I did! It is beautiful, sturdy & the price is one you can't beat! My husband put it together in about an hour. Would rate it 5 stars but the only thing I was not too fond of is the smell of the paint or wood. It is so strong, it smells like spray paint. Not even with the windows open does the room rid of the smell & we've had it for about 3 weeks now. Other than that, the crib was delivered undamaged & fast.

We purchased this crib for one of our twins. We had a more expensive crib from our son, that we are using and needed one to match the espresso color. I was hesitant at first, of buying this without seeing it. Plus, it's only $200...so how good could it really be? Well we received it and love it so far! The shipping was prompt ( got it within a week). Assembly required. The only downfall was this crib took about an hour to put together and seemed a little difficult for my husband to do. He is also quite handy. However, once it was put together it looked and felt great. Definitely worth the $$.I also must add that the Amazon customer service is quite helpful and resolved my issue when I called. The interior of the front rail was damaged and they were most helpful when I called to tell them.

I understand drilling holes is a complicated business.. Perhaps one that Delta should get out of. I overnighted this crib to the surprise and delight of my wife as she was excited to get our nursery started. Upon assembly the main transition piece that holds the front footing to the front fascia of the crib was drilled completely wrong. After calling Delta for some resolution the best they could offer was to ship the piece in 7-10 business days. This is completely unacceptable considering I could just return this POS and have a new crib at my house tomorrow with Prime. Not impressed with their support or product. If the error has been created on the company side and not the customers then a business that truly cared about quality, reputation, and brand would offer to take care of these types of issues much more promptly.Regarding the quality of the 1/3 of a crib I was able to assemble I can offer that the white is only white in the places that they have actually managed to find the wood with the paint. There are many inconsistent places where the bare wood peaks out on the top rail. The wood itself if very soft and will show even slight pressure with a fingernail. Past this I cannot comment since I have no idea what the completed crib would really look or feel like as a completed product.

The crib itself is very well made and easy to put together. Very stylish and sturdy. The only issue was that the front rail came dented, right in the front....Which we realized AFTER putting it together. We called then company and they sent us another front rail without any hassle. After 7 business days it got to us and low and behold, another dent on the front rail in almost the same exact spot as the other dented rail. We called again and they tried to make us pay for shipping to send the others back, but after some "talking" they agreed to send us a shipping label to send the dented rail back. It's been a week and we're still waiting on our THIRD front rail. Let me add that the entire front of the crib comes in one big piece. So the small part that's dented has to be replaced with the entire front of the crib. It's a pain. Other than that, the crib itself is beautiful.
