Easy to fit even for amateurs.
Excellent value for money, I am not particularly pc savvy, all I knew is that my storage m.2 did not have a heat sink and it sat right above the GPU, after checking the temp when in use it was getting up at 82°c, so I looked for a solution that I could do myself without looking for a tech whizz to assist on my old gen 3 system, so I bought this, laid my pc on its back removed the drive, followed the very clear instructions, and using the screwdriver supplied, fitted and replaced the drive with the heatsink now attached, it literally took me 5 minutes to do and my temps have dropped by around 20°c, now running at around 62°c give or take a couple of degrees, I wasn't expecting such a big drop, giving the mesh a clean may have helped a little, hard to say, it wasn't all that dirty, but thrilled at how easy this was to fit and how much my temp dropped by, it's nice quality, fits together well (as in the screw holes are where they are supposed to be) although looks bulky it really doesn't take up much more space, I was concerned about the fit with the back plate but I was needlessly worried, it fit straight back in to my system without any issues, I highly recommend this if you have a m.2 that's a bit hot.

Nice and cool
Excellent heatsink. Keeps my m.2 drive nice and cool. Was really easy to install and looks at home on my asus motherboard. Great price too.

Well worth it
Bought this because my SSD was running hotter than a car dashboard in July. Fitted this heatsink and temps immediately dropped by around fifteen degrees. Installation was quick, no fiddly screws or swearing involved, which makes a refreshing change. The finish is sleek and it actually looks decent on the board... not that you see much once the case is closed, but still. It gives off that satisfying ‘I know what I’m doing’ vibe, even if you do not. Keeps things stable when the drive is being pushed hard, especially during large game installs or big file transfers. Hard to say much more than it does exactly what you want it to do, and quietly at that. No noise, no RGB nonsense, just simple and effective cooling. Worth every penny if your SSD is usually hot enough to replace your George Foreman.

Great little unexpensive SSD heatsink
Bought for WD850 SSD Definitely compatible with WD Black 850X and WD Black SN770 Very easy to fit. Thermal pad was perfect. Heat dissipation is good.

Effective and easy to install
The heatsink works well and is very easy to install. Includes all the necessary screws, as well as a spare and also includes a screwdriver to assemble. It's a little bit chunky so you have to check the space for it, but it fits snugly in mine and keeps my SSD running cool.

Great fit, looks good
Really happy with these (purchased two). Easy to install and each pack comes its own teeny screwdriver to aid the installation. They look great too. Cannot speak for thermal efficiency but it felt like a snug fit after I sandwiched the M.2 card into it so will recommend if you want a more asthetically pleasing look of your M.2 drives in your motherboard. Theee months later update: thermal efficiency appears fine even in the crazy heatwaves here in the UK. Still recommend these!

Excellent Cooler
Excellent cooler. Significantly reduced the temperature of my SSD. Definitely worth it if you are concerned about high temps damaging or throttling your SSD

This heatsink is working perfectly with Samsung 980 pro. Averagely the temperature of the M.2 SSD dropped to 47 degree Celsius on normal usage.

First off, it comes with 4 screws, the heatsinks, and a little screwdriver (awesome inclusion). The build quality is superb. Installation is super easy. Peel the thermal pad covers off, slap the SSD in there and line it up properly, slap the top portion of the heatsink on, and squeeze the heatsink pieces together firmly on the SSD, and screw in the screws in the appropriate holes (There are holes for single sided or double-sided SSDs). I bought two of these heatsinks for two SSDs in a newly purchased Alienware Aurora ACT1250. I used HWInfo64 and CrystalDiskMark to test temperatures. Max temps prior to the heatsinks: (naked drives) SK_Hynix SSD Gen4 2TB - 59C WD Black SN850X 2TB - 68C Max temps with the heatsinks: SK_Hynix SSD Gen4 2TB - 45C WD Black SN850X 2TB - 42C Overall, I am blown away by the temp drops. And keep in mind, the Alienware Aurora does not have active cooling blowing over the SSD area, so these temps are basically passively cooled. Very impressive. I also ran a temp test on a Samsung 980 Pro 2TB with an ASUS X870 Strix motherboard heatsink in a different computer (with very good airflow), and those temps were near 70C max, so this little SSD heatsink seems to be much improved even over beefy motherboard SSD heatsinks. For the price, you cannot go wrong. If you want to dramatically improve temps on your SSDs, I can confidently and highly recommend the Be Quiet! MC1 Pro heatsink.

This little heatsync does exactly what it brags about. I'm going to order another one for my smaller NVMe drive.
