HHIP 3402-0303 6" x 5" x 4-1/2" Slotted Angle Plate, Webbed

Packaged ok, no rust. 90 degrees close enough for my home use. I was able to file in one edge to be able to stand block on it and be 90 degrees to the two larger faces. Razor sharp edges all around require chamfering, but with that said still a good value

Functionally this is a very good piece. The primary angle is within 10 seconds of 90 degrees, which translates to about a .0003 inch error at the edge - that's pretty good for a cheap Chinese angle. Flatness is within .0001. Parallelism on the edges is within .0005. That's good enough for the machine work that I do.The intersection of the two faces (the ridge) is rough, had to grind it smooth. The back was painted with the worst silver paint I've ever seen - it was like fake chrome, but ugly. Horribly rough, bits of paper embedded in the paint. Like others mentioned, had to machine the back side to get a decent surface for clamping. But once it was cleaned up, it served its purpose well.

I am very pleased with this angle plate. The machined surfaces are very nice. I have a lot of plans to use this on my Logan lathe

Very happy with this anlge plate, it was accurate under .0005". I would buy it again, esp. with it being a amazon prime item. It was a perfect fit for my 6" and 10" rotary chucks.

When I picked up the box I thought, this can't be it. It will be fine for light duty work but I would have preferred thicker material. As expected it needs a complete deburring and the paint job is about as bad as I have seen. So far it appears to be straight and square.

I ordered this angle plate to use on my mill. Upon inspection of the product, the machining on the faces is pretty good for imported items. The mounting slots are equally spaced and finished ok for home hobby use. However, the web casting on the back is not equally spaced from the ends which causes one mounting slot to be useless for securing the work. This should have been rejected when taken out of the mold. It is that obvious. Lack of quality control. I returned the item and reordered. I have used this importer's products and they have all been fine. This was probably just a fluke thing from the factory.

Angle plate works great. The plate is surprisingly light for iron, it must be some light weight cast iron so don't know how strong it would be. I would not use it for anything that would take a large shock load like hammering or banging around on it. I checked it with a machinist square and it was right on. Slotted holes spacing fit the T-slots in my Bridgeport. Overall works great for what I do with it.

This angle plate is great for a smaller mill. Square, descent weight and clean. I should buy another one.

The part was of good quality for the price.Disappointed that the part had a lot of sharp edges that when handling it one could get cut.

Loved them for model building. They are solid heavy and amazing

This is a very sturdy angle plate. It is accurate on the angle and just what I needed to support the milling attachment for my metal turning lathe.
