Rhode Island Novelty10 Inch Pirate Boat, One Per Order

Amazing value for the money. My kids love it- 3 and 5 yr old boys. There’s not much else out there like this. A couple of the pieces can come apart and snap off and be removed, and the kids like to donit and then put it back together. I’m not sure if that’s part of the toys intention- but that’s what they do. This little silver piece on the top of the captains quarter broke off very early on because of the thin part of it just broke, but it doesn’t need it. I threw that piece out and you can’t even tell it’s missing.

My 6 year old nephew loved this!! It's a good size. I love that it was already assembled because my nephew is not into building things. It has a lot of detail and arrived really quickly.

My son likes this ship a lot. It has a lot of cute details, but it is plastic and not sure how long it will last. It's not really a bath toy because of the sticker decals and the painted silver parts.I bought this 10 months ago for $10. Now Amazon is claiming it's normal price is $29.99 and it's on sale for $14.99.For $10, it's great! For $14, mmm, it's ok. I would still buy it. But it would not ever be worth $29.99-- unless inflation takes us there next year.

You get what you pay for I guess. For only $10 this IS cool boat and my kids enjoy it, but it has some flaws that should be looked at.First off it doesn't float. With how detailed this is I assumed the thing would float, but it does not even come close.The pieces come off easily and go back on rather easily, but after repeatedly having to put them back on I dont see them lasting long due to wear.The overall look of the ship is AWESOME, but lacks in functionality. More of a floor toy and not a water friendly toy.For the price maybe it would be better to sell this as an "assembly required" toy since all of the pieces just snap together anyway and are not permanently fixed. It would make it fun to put it together like a model and add to the value of the toy, in my opinion. Maybe if some were sold as a kit and some already assembled?? I don't know how that would work exactly, but it's an idea.I don't regret buying it, but I just think it would have been WAY cooler if it could actually float. The fact it doesn't float is a real let down.If it doesn't matter to you if it floats then this is a great buy because the quality is good and the detail is exquisite.

My kid loves this toy! He has a ton of fun with it but it is very easy for the sails and the orange rope parts to come off. It isnt high quality but its not expensive either. It would be a great size if you were planning on putting it on a half sheet cake, or on a quarter sheet if you dont mind it taking up some real estate. ARRRGGGHHHH

So I ordered this ship for a pirate painting I'm designing not expecting very much; (due to the reviews and price.) Welp, that's what I got. The pieces disassemble easily, but come right back in for the most part... In less than a day, I broke the back of the ship, (the silver piecing for ornament next to the bridge,) without much hope of repairing the broken part. It was rather simple and actually scary if I had been a small child... The boat is also pretty tiny, but cute, also very accurate. Just don't expect to get anything on it.... It can barely fit a crew of ants. I'm not really sure how SAFE this thing is with children. Even before something broke, the backside isn't totally together and there's so many things I can easily break.... All in all, don't expect allot from this ship and you'll be fine.

So fun! Small enough to fit atop my son’s 4th birthday cake, but big enough to be a sturdy toy for later! Perfect and inexpensive.

The ladders rising on the masts came broken, split at the top. So, they didn't hold to the ship. All the pieces of this ship are poorly secured to the ship, with that said, I don't recommend using this ship for anything other than decoration or very light play. Will not float in a body of water, has holes in bottom and doesn't have any sort of ballast to be balanced.It does look small but the measurements are accurate. It is very detailed for a toy.Bottom line, don't buy unless your idea of a toy is one that you can't play with.
