How do you refill these? Can’t get the lead to advance on the 3.0. Does not write.,

I have the same problem with my 3.0 it sucks!! All the other ones work fine. I did drop 1 lead in under the eraser and clicked it down, but you have to write very soft or it will break.

does the lead in the pencil chamber rotate around making the lines rather dull instead of being able to create a sharp contrast line?

No, Neither the mechanical pencils nor the 2mm lead holders will rotate the lead.

Does the 2.0 have a built-in cap eraser?

Yes, under the black cap. The cap fits tightly, so eraser will usually get pulled out with it. Just separate them and put the eraser part back.
