DHP Theo Daybed with Storage Drawers, Full, Black Velvet

Took me about 3.5-4hrs to put together. Directions were easy to follow and they sent xtra screws which is aways nice. Frame seems sturdy. I wish the drawers were full length but decent storage. So far I recommend. Will update in about a month after a few sleeps.

The daybed is really sturdy. If you have kids, the texture of the the fabric may be a problem. Overall, I really like the daybed and would recommend it.

Will this be the most solid piece of furniture in your house? No. Will this last you a generation? No. But it definitely does the job really really well. I bought this after lots and lots of research so hopefully my review will be helpful.Pros:- You get a very stylish daybed for a very good price.- Love the minimalist look- The blue linen color is absolutely beautiful- Has not shown any signs of wear considering how much my toddler jumps on it.- Instructions were clear and simple, it still took me a couple hours to put together but I was able to do a lot of it by myself with a little help from my husband.- You can really pull the room together beautifully with some throw pillows and a nice fitted sheet.- I have had wonderful naps on it! It also depends on what kind of mattress you pair it with. If you will be sleeping on it a lot I'd suggest getting a more comfortable mattress to really get its worth.Cons:- The drawers are so useless. They have really cheaped out on these. Firstly they aren't attached to the sofa they just roll around on their own which makes them go in every direction.- The material they use for the drawers are paper. You cannot put anything heavy in there. I bought this thinking I would be able to store my daughter's toys but I was wrong. It is very delicate I can only keep throws and small pillows.- Its always a pain to close the drawers shut because you need to lift the drawer and insert the nail straight into a small notch on the frame of the bed which is not possible in the first try considering how much these drawers roll around here and there.- Had significant off-gas which took a while to diffuse.- Not very high quality build. But you definitely get what you pay for.

I love this bed, very comfy. Has nice storage space

It took a little over 2 1/2 hours for me to assemble this. My daughter helped me hold up pieces when I needed an extra set of hands. With two people assembling this from start to finish, it would go faster. One could probably assemble it on their own, but it’s a bit of a balancing act.The bed looks nice on the outside, but this won’t be great if you need drawers for heavy duty storage. It will probably work fine for her to store light things like her kindle, chargers and a spare blanket under the bed. The flimsy plastic interior won’t hold anything heavier than that.If you need sturdy drawers for storage, don’t buy this. If light weight is fine, this bed should work.The bed was also easy to assemble, for how many parts it has. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I would consider getting this bed frame again for a guest room. It’s not expensive but bear in mind that you will get what you pay for.

This daybed arrived with all of its pieces, and was easy to assemble. My 14 year old daughter put it together almost completely by herself. The drawers are a bit flimsy, but if you lay down some heavy cardboard, that helps out a little. Overall great bed for the amount of $ you are spending.

Super easy to assemble. I was able to do it on my own. It does take a bit of time, however. It is a solid bed frame and the drawers are a nice bonus. Looks great in my basement guest room. Super good value for the money.

This was very easy to put together. The drawers are very spacious and give it a nice finished look (they also prevent my dog from going under the bed and hiding toys, a big plus there). It's very sturdy as well. With me, my roommate, and both our dogs sitting on the bed it's around 400lb and the bed didn't so much as squeak in protest. My dog bounces around on it all the time and it doesn't budge. I really think this is well worth the money.
