how much weight can this pole hold?

I use it in my workshop. The pole holds two motors for woodworking weighing about 10 lbs. I wouldn't put much more weight on it than that.

Is the base removable? How small is the unit when disassembled for transport in a suit case?

I think it is removable. The base is about 24" square, and the poles will collapse to about 3.5 feet or so. I didnot measure it lately so these are eyeball estimates. It has been excellent for me overall. Good Luck.

What is the diameter of the pole?

We didn't measure it but I estimate between 3/4 to 1 inch. It was very sturdy and we had no problem hanging the IV and the Food bag on it.

How can i get a missing part for this? i'm struggling to find a way. big and heavy to return. box was re-taped, i should have stopped there.
