ReeseTowpower 83002 Fifth Wheel Lube Plate, 10 Inch Round, 3/16 Inch Thick, Eliminates Need for Grease

I have gone through three of these over quite a few years of towing a 5th wheel camper. The last a long time and work as advertised.

Recommend by my hitch installer. Now I don’t have to apply grease to the hitch plate. Should last for many miles.

Man these things are awesome, bought these to try instead of the normal 5th wheel greasing as I had several stops with a 3400 mile move across the country and must say I'm impressed. No chatter, removed excess slop and best of all no noise whatsoever. 23k pound trailer and held up so well the second one I purchased as a backup/spare was actually a waste of money as it's still sitting as such.

I have purchased this item a few times now and waited to write this review simply because I wanted to make sure I share my most honest experience. I have used this on a few of my trailers and trucks and it never disappoints. Durable, reliable and economical.

Easy to install. My RV repair guy told me about this and the value if I would buy it online instead of through a shop.

Thickness matter when it comes to holding in place when left on your hitch once you unhook. The flimsy ones end up pushing the wings and then it no longer stays on the hitch.

Stops the grinding between the 5th wheel plate and the upper coupler. I use grease on this also to reduce the wear.
