I used this to convert a stand-alone whole house humidifier. I had a humidifier that held six gallons but needed to be filled twice a day in the winter. I removed the two water reservoirs and replaced them with this. It works perfectly. I purchased an ice-maker connection kit to install it.

My original float in my humidifier developed a leak. This one was the perfect replacement.
