Growing On Me, Fast
Coming from an SSH Player Strat I was a little worried once I bring it home in that this guitar doesn't quite have the same forgiving cleans that single coil guitars are known for, it can be achieved, but you have to play it more accurately because the pickups are HOT and any mistake will become more noticable. But having the option to pull up the volume nob and coil tapping the humbuckers is very cool to me. Digital Tones that worked on the Strat often didn't work with this bad boy but once I made the adjustments you still can get a Strat Tone, but definitely a darker sounding version which is honestly better for my style. This is a HEAVY Sounding Axe! I've been able to play every style of Heavy music I can think of more than comfortably. The Neck Pickup makes it sound like an entirely different instrument compared to the Bridge. At times I feel the leads feel like more of a Les Paul than a Strat and the compound radius fretboard (which is all new to me) makes it so much easier to do bends and vibrato when in "Humbucker Mode". Having that damned whammy bar is also getting to experience something I've always dreamed about but made excuses not to try, I'm not a super shred type player but I I like to have sections that sound like I am, I don't overly use the whammy but a well placed Whammy on a Floyd Rose at the exact right moment is truly something special. Overall, I feel like this will be a Life Long Guitar, not just something to try and trade in a couple years. I probably will need one more guitar in order to have the option of downtuning easier (downtuning on a Floyd Rose is a job in and of itself, but the upside is that it never goes out of tune no matter how hard you abuse the whammy) but I'm sure this thing here will be used on some music coming to a town near you very soon! ....Perhaps I settled on the color, they were out of San Dimas sparkling green but at the same time I wanted something that had a Warm, Old Fashioned Characterist mixed with some new age with the Floyd and locking nut, I had to buy from my trusted local guitar shop (Huber and Breese) vs buying via mail as both my player Strats had issues even coming from Sweetwater who are known for top notch service. Black Friday Deals had it at $50 more than the Player Strat, if that. It's not something you will complain about having if you play Heavy Music. This is a True Axe for anyone, especially if you're coming from lower priced brands like I am. I had always been told that the guitar you play doesn't make a difference, it's all about the player. Don't believe it. Play this compared to any $200 guitar and believe me, it's a night and day difference. You don't have to fight the guitar to get the right notes, you basically just touch the fretboard. Smooth as glass!

The Original Hot Rod Guitar Which Is A Shredder`s Dream
I know of people who have this guitar and it may just be the ultimate shred guitar ever. Charvel were the first to invent The Original "Hot Rod Guitar" soon after Eddie Van Halen in 1978 played the Eruption solo which changed guitar forever. The current pickups that Charvel uses have more of a muddy/gritty sound which for some people may be perfect. But, for me Dimarzio pickups(which Charvel use to use) sound more musical and more pleasing to the ear. I think the neck on this is smoother and more comfortable than a traditional strat or les paul which makes it easier to play fast. Jesus is the answer and God bless you :)

The bees knees
There is a reason these are played by aficionados. The neck is incredible. It practically plays itself. Right out of the box, it needed minimal tuning and was ready to go. This thing does it all. Bright clean tones, chunk distortion, searing leads, and everything inbetween. Trust me...if you're looking for a guitar, try this Charvel. You'll thank me later.
