Great Planes Set Screw Prop Adapter 8.0mm to 3/8x24

Excellent tolerances and quality. It is an unusual piece, but was important for the project that I was working on. I'm assuming some people are also using it to build an annealer for brass, as this was one of the only places I found it. It works well with clamping a sheet of metal and getting it centered to spin true. I had to make a bigger hole to help center the piece for my project. Aluminum.

Bought this to build a case annealer and it works great. No runout so drum turns without wobbling. It did have a bit of a shoulder at the bottom where the drum fit on the shank, but I turned it off in my lathe. Could probably do the same thing in a drill pretty easy since it's made out of aluminum. I could have made 1 but for the price this was a great bargain.

I made a Annealing to anneal brass, this is the adapter to connect motor to turning tray. It works great. I would buy again, and do recommend.

Item is fine... but usually, when I’m buying online, I get extra items just in case they’re needed for a project knowing I can return any unused items. Not with Hobbico. The fact that I can’t with Hobbico means that A) I have a bunch of extra parts that I don’t need and B) I can’t ever buy anything from them again.
