Is this brush compostable?

No this cannot be composed; there is recycled plastic in the bristles.

Is a vegatable brush all the different from a kitchen brush ?

This brush has pretty soft bristles, to what I'm used to. This also didn't last very long. The wood split where it was glued and it fell apart.

How do i clean/sanitize this brush?

I dip mine in bleach. Cleans and sanitizes.
