BIO-5-25-COX 5.25 Inch Coaxial Car Speakers, 160 Watts Max, Pair

Given the price, honestly I wasn't expecting much but you never wanna put expensive speakers in a truck. I added these to my beater 2000 International rollback. Coupled with the dirt cheap $25 Dual Wal-Mart stereo as reviewed by Big D - Old School Stereo (YT), I'm absolutely blown away by how good this combination sounds. Plays Steely Dan crisp & clear turned all the way up to volume level 35 (max is 40) while not getting muddy at all with the bass set at level 5. Any other cheap setup like this never cuts thru the noise of a truck but this sure does. S/N ratio must be a little better than what they rate them at. Speakers appear to be built very well with nice quality textured powdercoat frames & I expect they will last as long as I care for them to. I'll be buying more sets for my other trucks. Super impressive!

I feel like I could have gotten better for the price. Just make sure you install them right or they will not sound good at all. The highs are good but hardly any mid bass and I understand a 5.25 won't produce a lot of bass but still not good.

I was surprised by these speakers, using both of them as center speakers on a custom box on a large home theater system 20+ speakers system. Ive had them almost maxed out after breakin period and zero distortion, nice clean sound. Can't say much about bass as I'm using them as centers and the system has enough bass to shake the house down but they are nice and loud to be able to keep up with the rest of the system playing music and movies. I would buy them again. For a car system i couldn't tell you but as I'm using them they are awesome.

Sound is good but lacks the Depth of the CT-MESO series speakers. I had no choice and had to return the Meso speakers because the mounting depth was just a bit to deep for my application. But make no mistake the CT-SOUNDS speakers are well worth the asking price 👍🏽👍🏽

I have these installed in a speaker box in my jeep Wrangler. I wanted something that could overcome road noise when the jeep has no doors or top. While the audio quality isn't perfect, at this price point, it does exactly what I wanted. Bass reproduction is a little flat but overall they work well.

was a company truck, a spare truck for that matter. speakers were blown, so i bought the cheapest possible compatible replacements. this fit the bill nicely. My only complaint is that the tweeters are rather bright, and i have the one particularly sensitive ear (100% deaf in left ear). You can tell there are supposed to be mids, but i didn't bother with foam baffles because, well, it's a company truck, so sound quality wasn't exactly my concern, but the sound quality compared to blown speakers was 100% an improvement. In the future if i get a new primary truck that uses these speakers, i will do a proper install and update my review to reflect that, but for now, expect to turn the treble down on the EQ 2 or 3 notches.

My son liked them alot. They are in our truck now. They sound great. They definitely passed on the pocket book. Lol
