Good service and a reasonable product
I got the test pen on time, and thanks for the services. The product is good enough except for the light is a little dim. Overall, I am satisfied with the product.

Don't mess with electric without one of these...
When working with live wires, checking a hot connection is tremendously valuable, and knowing that the tester pen works should NOT be in question. This is relatively inexpensive and did what it said it would. Out of the box from the mail, the light inside is easy to see. I purchased it for a friend's project and left it with him so he can have one on hand. I showed him exactly what I did, so he can be certain to use it to check the wires when connecting lights and other items to the boxes in his apartment. It is small and sturdy and I know it will be used again and again with simple lighting installation and other home projects. FYI, I did not choose this one due to its brand... I recommend it based on my personal experience with it. (in my opinion, this type of product is either a 1 star or 5 star... either it works correctly or not... this one worked, so I give it a 5) ;)

Easy to use and solid built
I am very happy with these screwdrivers. I ordered the same pack second time now.

Works but……
It worked for me on wires I needed to test. But as some of comments said it is a very very dim light. Difficult to see in daylight.

Light element too dim for 120v usage
It works but, you really need to look close to see the dim orange glow at 120v. This photo was taken indoors in a dimly lit room. Not sure how anyone will see the dim glow outdoors or in a well lit space. Maybe for 240-300v it’s brighter , but for North America and Japan this is iffy at best. And remember to check against a known hot like to verify the lamp still works before you rely on it. — Update:the performance of the lighting can be improved by replacing the neon light with a segment of COB green LED strip (must be green to work well) using the mod bigclive has done. See green lighting modified version. This isn’t the “as delivered” configuration and requires some careful and knowledgeable work.

It works, but the indicator light is very dim, unlike the ones I used before. Not sure if it is because of testing 110V vs 230V.
