Asus Pen Active Stylus (Silver) (90NB0000-P00100)

I haven’t done any kind of art in 20+ years and wanted to start learning how to paint without the mess, dedication, and cost so I went out and bought an Asus 2-in-1 computer (I know it’s not the preferred choice but I needed a laptop for my business and needed something affordable). I first bought the Adonit pen, some off brand pen, and a Wacom pen before I caved and bought this Asus pen... it wasn’t prime and I didn’t feel like waiting. No other pen even came close to the Asus (well, that’s not entirely true; the adonit pen was close but not nearly as pressure sensitive as the Asus on an Asus computer). I wish the pen had a micro USB charger instead of the AAAA battery, but the batteries are only a small inconvenience (you will notice a difference when the battery starts to die down). I’m using an Asus Q535 laptop which isn’t the best for drawing but I am pleased with the result. It doesn’t always recognize my strokes but I think that has more to do with my computer then the pen. If you have an Asus laptop don’t waste your time with anything other than the Asus pen... just my personal opinion.

Pen arrived as scheduled, installed battery, and ready to use. There's no on/off switch so I'm not sure if the battery should be removed when not in use. Not a big deal. We'll figure out how long a battery lasts. So far it works great, no lag at all. Does exactly what it says it can do. My daughter uses it for college and loves it. We've only had it for a month so will update if there's any issues.

this is a good product. if you have a 180 folding laptop(like the zenbook flip series), than you should definitely buy it.but if you have just a normal laptop with a touch screen, don't bother, because you can't actually write with this pen if the screen is not fully folded on the table...no one can hold their hand on air while writing..

After the package getting lost by UPS once and having to wait another week for the replacement, I was happy with the results of the pen. It works well and is very accurate. Could be a little cheaper in my opinion but you do get a quality, well made pen instead of flimsy styluses I’ve used in the past. It did come with a battery in the package as well as a replacement tip which was well appreciated on my end.

Noebook PC ASUS R518U MODEL. THUS FAR IT DOES NOT WORK! I got it for my daughter for Christmas When it came we thought it was the battery and so we bought more batteries and it still does not work. We called Amazon and they are replacing the pen. We are hoping and praying that it works this time around. I will leave another review if it works or not! Gave a 1 because you have to give something...and they are replacing it.

Hoping for it to work as well as the Apple Pencil. Was disappointed. Especially since the laptop I use has both a gtx1050 and i7 in it. Plenty enough computing power to be able to replicate the Apple Pencil and iPad capabilities.

Great Pen, but when I ordered I was worried. My laptop says it supports pen input, but nowhere on the Asus website for either this pen or my laptop does it say this is a compatible accessory. I ordered this anyway, hoping that they were out of date, and was right. Pen works well, I like not having to turn it on or off, it just works. Excellent in accuracy, works well for drawing and writing.

Quality wise it’s a good product but providing the type service I wanted compared to other stylus pens I have used, I would say it’s too overrated and poor. I gave it 2 stars because there are other pens that can do much more for half of the price.
