I raised my babies with slings. I looked for a sling I knew a new mom could be successful with - this one arrived and I gave the gift to a new mom! Styling is simple and easy, intuitive to use. The adjustment 'tail' is useful for pulling sling tighter without having excesses of fabric, the model I was looking for a new sling user. It also has nice padding for the shoulder and at the rims. Be sure to bring the rim up around the babyon the inside as well as out. Wear either shoulder whichever is comfortable for you. Alternating is good to use your body bilaterally to ensure healthy ergonomics. The sizing is great also for a smaller baby. I told the new mom if she learned to use and love it, to buy a bigger slling for her baby when larger. This one is perfect for a new mom/baby pair and will cultivate ease and success. I loved that I could carefully slide out of a sling by settting my baby into a carseat or their bed and leave the sling in place as a blanket --all without disturbing them! I loved that I could have my hands available and be on my feet doing some things while keeping my baby safe and close to me. Slings provide so much opportunity to feel capable and free as a mother while being a wonderful mother and engaged in daily activities and taking care of family or going out and about. My children are adult grown now, I wore slings for quite several years, and I selected this sling from all on Amazon as a great beginner sling and with an excellent price!! I've even made them before custom with silk fabrics as I am a previously a silk fabric artist, now a nurse! This sling comes with instructions on both the product page AND with the package. A total fail. Waste of money. Would not recommend.

It really helped me a lot, to carry my baby since it was my first baby, and I was awkward to carry it only in my arms, it was super useful even to love it very comfortable and light, and the fabric super soft.

I got this sling because I’m breastfeeding and thought this would be perfect for on the go but I used it during a Walmart trip for the first time when my daughter was 3 weeks old and she fed with this along with me holding her closer to me and I stopped and just let her lay in it like she’s supposed to be able to, I look down and she’s PURPLE! She wasn’t making noises or anything alarming I just happened to look and Her head was tilted too far forward to her chest and she was suffocating! if I wouldn’t have looked down she would have died 😭 I’m not bashing the product at all because it is GREAT for 3-4 months and older when they are able to move their heads better but Definitely not safe for little bitty baby’s 🥺 just be careful mammas!
