Pretty impressed with this set! I recently started two smaller tanks, one is a 6 gallon and the other is a 10 gallon exclusively for shrimp keeping. I purchased my aquarium kit from PetSmart to which it has most all of the components needed to set up a tank, except for an air pump, substrate, plants etc. I usually support my local pet shop, but I’ve recently dumped tons of money there since getting these new tanks set up, so for this one I decided to save a few bucks by turning to Amazon. I was kind of skeptical of this pump because I usually stick with my go to brands that I know work with my aquariums that I’ve had for 10+ years. My local pet shop recently switched air pump brands, so I decided to give this one a try since it came with everything needed for $20. A pump from my local store would’ve run $15-$20, plus $5 for tubing, another $1-$3 for air check valves, & another $3-$8 for an airstone… yet this was a one stop shop, it’s compact, AND it sticks to the side of the tank so you can hide it… of course I had to give it a shot since it helped me save approximately $20. I included photos of the whole thing & put the items in my hand so you could get size reference. It’s very easy to assemble, especially if you’re new to the aquarium hobby. It also comes with an instruction booklet and a photo diagram, which helps. I’m impressed with how much power and pumping capacity it has for being so compact. The airflow is great for my 10 gallon, which you can see in the video. The air stone is the perfect size to hide in the tank yet still get plenty of oxygen in the tank. It is also very lightweight and sticks easily onto the back of the aquarium so it doesn’t take up surface space and is easily hidden. I love the fact that it comes with a suction cup. It’s even an added bonus that it comes with an extra valve on it for extra safety in case you need to pause airflow or pause the air pump if there’s a leak. This air pump is SUPER quiet too, which is the main purchasing factor for me in air pumps. I’ve had some very noisy pumps that make you want to throw them out the window, adding work since you have to insulate them to get them quieter, but this pump is amazingly quiet! Can’t even tell it’s there. The overall value for the money with it including everything you need is so worth this product! I am a happy customer. I will also be a repeat customer since again. It helps save money yet is super innovative. Cannot stand enough great things, highly recommend giving this product a try. Additional bonus is that it comes in both black and white to help match whatever scheme you are going for with your fish tanks. I will be posting any additional updates that might occur.

Very surprised with how quiet this pump actually is!! It is absolutely silent, to the point that we don't hear anything but bubbles in the water when the rest of the house is shut down. The air flow is decent enough to give good aeration & be used with a filter, but wouldn't work for anything larger than a 10gal. Wish they made this pump for a 40 gal, because we are adding another tank in another room. It was very easy to use and set up , my 4 year old helped & figured it out. It suctions nicely to back of tank and hasn't fallen yet in weeks. I do press it on once a week, just in case. Update: there is a low buzzing that has begun to happen from time to time from the pump, which is not silent, but not loud either. It’s manageable while remaining quiet (just not silent when that happens anymore). Still a great pump that works very well , strong pump. Still want one for a 40+ gal, holding out hope.

Worked amazingly! My fish loves the bubbles soo quiet and super small!! Cord works amazingly and the air stone is really good! Five stars!!

12/5/25: I am loving this pump so far for my 3 gallon tank attached to my sponge filter for my betta. It was easy to set up, functioning as it should and is actually very quiet. The video makes it sound louder than it actually is. The suction cup actually stays suctioned to the device and my tank. I had tubbing and a check valve already installed but it does come with it. The flow is perfect but can be adjusted if you buy a valve. The look is sleek and small design which is great for my small tank.

Super, super quite and really nice extremely small bubbles. came with all the extras, worked great in my 10 gallon shrimp tank for year & a half then suddenly quit putting out air. Pump still vibrated but no air out. But hey, for under $15 I got my money's worth (just 1$ a month) and ordered another one to replace it as I know these work extremely well (why try another brand with unknown results). I still highly recommend this product.

This one is a winner. I like the double sided suction cup for attachment to the outside of the tank. It's small, and powerful enough to provide plenty of aeration for my 10 gallon tank. I can't even hear this thing running. It's very quiet Good choice.

Falling in love with the nicrew product. I got the filter assembly because I needed a small filter that didn't over power my 1 gallon and 3.5 gallon tanks and just fell in love. I needed a small air pump for my small air sponge and saw nicrew had this and you can put it on the tank. It is so easy to use and the size is perfect to keep out of the way. It functions perfectly and is super quiet that i forget it is there. Perfect air flow and the price is a perfect match for the quality. Will be ordering more nicrew product as long as they keep the quality and price.

I really love this air pump. It was perfect for my 5 gallon, and insanely quiet. You can’t even hear it if you’re right next to it. The size is convenient and it’s barely noticeable wherever you stick it. Unfortunately I have upgraded to a 10 gallon and it does not seem to be able to handle my needs. But it is perfect for a smaller tank!
