This is a great watch! I use it daily, landscaping, hiking, camping, swimming in the rivers, it is showing no signs of aging. This watch, I believe, did not make traction, meaning it wasn’t a big seller. I am not sure why. I enjoy the size, the rugged look and the functionality of the watch. The solar is excellent, I charged it once to ‘high’ and it keeps the charge with daily use. I definitely recommend this watch for its accuracy, comfort and ease of use.

The Must Have Mudmaster!

The knife itself as far as the model is outstanding. How ever this watch was used with a scratch and scuff on the band buckle. Also a couple of light scratches on the back of the watch. All factory seals were removed the box was well warn and scotched taped shut. I decided to keep the watch because this particular color combo with a FDE band and accents seems very hard to get. Another reason I’m keeping it is this watch will get used and enjoyed but I did pay a high premium for this watch and was expecting a new watch not slightly used . Fortunately There is no scratches on the Bezel or on sapphire Crystal face. I normally don’t write reviews and almost didn’t but I think other buyers should be warned it’s only fair and the right thing to do. The only positive thing about the seller I can say is it was shipped promptly and was the correct model.

This is my 2nd mud master I also have All Gray but this Sand stands out and is my daily wear. I love these watches and opposite of fine watch I usually wear but love it. If you have to have just one watch as active wear I would recommend this watch all day long.

Really wish it was a 4.5/5 stars, which I will get to. This is one solid watch. It has enough capability to keep most computational needs satisfied. The system is easy to use, maybe not intuitive at first, but easy enough to figure out after some play time. The barometer is spot on and didn't require setting when it arrived. The altimeter is like any other: just fine until local barometric pressure changes due to weather. Calibrating it is certainly easy enough. Compass is not as functional as a real, honest to goodness compass, but it works, and in an emergency that could be helpful. Readable: yes, both in the day and night. The lum is great: numbers glow nicely as do the hands. The LED is too much for typical night use but there should you need it. The strap: not the best. It causes heat rash. There should be an option to replace it with canvas or other material. There are fine 3rd party products coming out soon for this model, so no worries... just more expenditure. Solar charging works perfectly well. No issues. The radio-watch-time setting system? M'eh: has not worked yet for me even when tried manually at various times after midnight when those time signals are easiest to receive. In fact, my handheld shortwave receiver could easily pick up those signals... the watch can not. Not sure about that. The watch can be set manually, and it keeps fine time.
