has anyone used these to clip curves in fabric seams?

I would not buy it for that purpose. It is super small, I only use it for cutting embroidery thread. Choose a somewhat bigger scissor for cutting fabric, this one is not made for that.

Are these clit snip compatible?

Unless you are using these for sewing-they are entirely WAY to tiny! I had to buy a different pair

How secure is the cap?

Very secure. To remove it requires a little squeeze of the two handles. I use them on a lanyard with other notions to have handy when I do needlework. I have never had the cap accidentally come off.

How many for $10.50? I have a pair that I bought in a store years ago. I like them, but they’re certainly not worth more than $2 each.

One. Just one pair. They are quite nicely made. I think they are much nicer than the $2 ones I recall from years ago. You likely won't purchase these. They are not a bargin.

Amazing, sharp enough to cut my tapestry’s threads, perfect for traveling, particularly as the end cover is attached. Worth the cost.

I was able to take them along on a recent trip and not worry about having them confiscated at the airport security. They are also very sharp and cut really well.

It works. It’s small, cute and practical.

Excellent and the loop means I won’t lose it. It’s not super sharp, so it takes a few times to cut yarn. it’s for travel so it works and I am enjoying it in my crochet bag.
