Lot of 50 Pieces Worldwide Collectible Stamp Collection

I've been collecting long enough to know that lots and "mystery grab bags" of stamps are simply marketing tactics for the majority of sellers to offload their junk stamps. Yet here I am ordering a lot that caught my eye.Worldwide/World stamps. Truth: select regions. I had stamps from approx 14 regions. One of them Nederlands. I had approx 23 stamps (mostly headshots) from Nederlands.Description says 100 stamps. Headline says 50 stamps. Truth: I counted close to 50.Description says USED and MINT stamps. Truth: not one darn stamp was mint. All were cancelled.The Q&As has seller responding to a buyer stating there are no stamps on paper or hinges. Truth: I had 4 hinged and 3 stamps on paper.Description says "rare stamps." Truth: I found no rare stamps. Then again, "rare" is defined differently in different contexts. Rare is in rare-valueable stamps? Think again if you gonna find a high value stamp in a $6 grab bag. Rare as in very difficult to find? Not in this lot of stamps. Rare as in old? I had a stamp from the early 30s that was heavily cancelled, weathered, and torn.The picture in description has nice mint stamps. Deceptive marketing. Not one mint stamp. Lots of stamps from Netherlands. Lots of damaged stamps. Hinged stamps and few on-paper stamps. Not for the intermediate collectors and up. Wouldn't even recommend to beginners. Beginners are better off ordering the lot of 1,000 stamps for $17, which is a better value, monetary speaking.

It states will get at least 50 different countries. We only got 35. We got a LOT of stamps. Most were from the US and Great Britain. I wouldn't advertise worldwide when giving 35 from the US. Very sad. My son was wanting to start a collection, which he can, but is now leery of buying.He was disappointed. He already has the US Flag and now has 35.

While the countries weren't as varied as I hoped (several U.S. and Canadian stamps), I got several 75-100 year old stamps, including a 6-stamp block totaling 1.2 billion marks during 1923 hyperinflation in Germany, and several 1920s Yugoslavian stamps. There were also several interesting non-cancelled stamps from Spain. Other countries included Austria, Cuba, Chad, Nigeria, Finland, San Marino, France, Australia, Portugal, Poland, Hungry, Greece, Netherlands, Belgian, and New Zealand.

I bought theses for my 5 year old grand daughter who likes organising stuff and loves pretty stamps.She loved them......and after some instruction from Mum she enjoyed sorting and attaching them.I wanted to help her understand the world outside the USA.

The envelope containing my order was worth the order itself! Colorful stamps in multiple values adorned theenvelope that brought my packet of international stamps to me. Mixed media collage compositions willbenefit from the addition of a colorful stamp or two.

2nd time is a charm. Great price ultra fast shipping. Would make a great gift for stamp collector beginners.

I really like this product and would definitely recommend it. I wanted to buy collectible stickers so that I could put them on my letters that I send to my penpals. This product has a lot of stamps from many different countries. There are many duplicates but I got more than 50 to compensate. The stamps come with paper backing — they are not sticky. When I attach them to my letters I will just use double sided adhesive tape and it should work perfectly.

It was a nice collection of stamps. However, most of the stamps were from Poland, Cuba, Czech and Bulgaria (more than 25). The remaining were from Libya, Brazil, Canada, France, Italy, Paraguay. Sweden, Hungary, England and Germany. As you can tell, the assortment could have been better. I was really looking forward for some Asian and African stamps, which was disappointing. Good thing was that there were bunch of extras that compensated for the duplicates, but meh... I guess it was OK!
