This is a good record for outside. I personally couldn’t find comfort in it because the back sits you up so straight. For the cost I did not want to have to use pillows for lumbar support. If you don’t intend to sit in this very much and you just need an outdoor chair, this is a great one. I however was looking for my screened in porch where I would be sitting quite a bit. I returned it because of comfort for me. It was easy to put together. You may need a second person for the seat because it’s heavy, but beyond that I did it myself.

I just bought my 2nd Jefferson Pollywood rocker. The first one has held up being left outside on our deck year round for the last 3 years. The hardware is stainless steel and the parts are well made. It can be assembled by one person but I recommend having two people assemble it because it is easier to line up the parts with an extra set of hands. I did one chair by myself and it took me about 30 minutes, but there were a few choice words used when I was trying to hold parts in place and the slipped out of position just as I started to tighten the screws. If you have a cordless drill I would use that to tightened the screws to save effort and time. Just make sure to adjust the torque setting to a lower setting to prevent stripping out the holes. My wife and I now have two chairs so we can both enjoy rocking out on our deck.

I bought two more of these awesome Mahogany Jefferson Rocking chairs by Polywood because everyone wants a rocking chair when we are out on the patio! I bought two back in 2018 and they are out year round. Even through our Eastern US winters and they look as good as the two new rocking chairs. Doesn't take more than 30 mins. from box to fully assembled and ready to rock! Had great customer service from seller as well. There was a little glitch with the carrier's delivery, but the seller fixed everything to my fullest satisfaction within days! Well worth the price as they did not fade crack or warp after being out year round.

I have owned 2 of these rocking chairs for two months and they’re used everyday. Great quality material and will last 10+ years in my opinion.Our chairs get sun the majority of the day and have not faded (nor do I think they will for years to come). These rocking chairs are relatively short so I would say ideal for someone no taller than 5ft 9inches.The hardware fits securely and once in place I don’t foresee the screws coming loose. With that being said I highly recommend using a power drill to put the chairs together as you will be tightening screws for hours by hand.The prefabricated pieces fit relatively well in the grooves with some minor adjustments. Don’t fully tighten all the screws on one part until you can properly fit in all the grooves.My only major complaint about these rocking chairs is the angle of the back. It’s basicaly a straight back chair that rocks., minimal lumbar comfort/support. I would prefer to see these chairs sit in a more reclined position to maximize comfort. Ended up buying pillows for back support.

The chair is nice once it’s assembled but the holes in the bottom of the front legs are way off center causing the bottom rails to twist so badly when the screws are tightened it causes the bottom rails to ride on the edge of the rails when rocking the chair. Required about 30 minutes of repair to get the rails to fit properly. Not the best workmanship for a $300 plus rocking chair. Would have given a five star rating if I didn’t have to mess with the mis-drilled holes.

These chairs were easy to assemble. I did it by myself but a second person would’ve been helpful. The chairs are sturdy and comfortable. I anticipate them lasting for years. I’ve purchased other polywood products and I’m very satisfied with them. Highly recommend

I really liked my chairs . I bought one and liked it and then bought another. I thought about actually buying another BUT THE PRICE went UP almost $50 in the last month. Why because two were sold?

Bought 2. The first took about 30 min to put together. The second about 15 min. Follow the instructions. Put bolts in loosely than go back and tighten when done. Make it easier. Get all kinds of compliments on them. Bought the table also. Will last a life time. Would highly recommend.

Not satisfied at all with this product. The holes didn't line up, I actually had to cut a couple of the bigger myself to allow the pieces to fit together.Also two of the screws that were drilled in the factory were split through the plastic so I had to cut the screws off. The heads were stripped so I could back them out.I called the manufacturer and they didn't want anything to do with me because I bought them through Amazon.

Excellent product. The back on the rocker is very straight... no slant to it at all. Not as comfortable as i was hoping for. Took me about 1/2 hour to put together. Solid PVC so no worries in keeping it outside.

I was amazed at how comfortable these chairs are. They lean back just enough. Assembly was easy if you have a little handyman experience, otherwise will be good to have some one help. Sturdy chair that looks great if you need a porch rocker.
