Hillsdale, 50945A, Emerson Metal Vanity Stool, Golden Bronze

Bought this because I wanted something with a back for when I'm applying makeup, chair is comfortable, not to hard, not too soft, only issue i had when putting it together, one screw did not fit, my husband ended up finding a screw that fit, definitely recommend this chair

This chair is very sturdy and simple to assemble.

Nice little chair for what I needed. Seat is comfortable but cant really sit back all the way in comfort since the back sits on an angle.The paint is a little cheap looking but still works. All in all it’s worth the money so far

Definitely 5 stars when averaging the cost and the quality. It was easy to put together (took about 15 minutes) and is very sturdy and heavy which makes it look way more expensive than it is. The seat was extremely hard at first, which I wasn’t too happy about, but luckily it softened up after sitting on it a couple times; now it’s perfect. For reference on size, I’m 5’4 and the back of the chair hits my mid-back, so it’s not a big chair. I was a little disappointed because I thought I looked funny sitting in this tiny chair but it’s actually the perfect height for my vanity.

You know I really didn't think this vanity chair would be that great of quality, but I was wrong! It's very nice, and really sturdy if you put it together properly. The fabric is not great at all it is not soft, and the seat is really firm, but I expected that so I am not upset. I am going to cover it with a cushion anyways, but if you do not want to do that, and want a soft cushion then this is not the vanity chair for you. Over all it is a great price, and really pretty once you get it all set up! Took the best pictures I possibly could hopefully this helps someone!

The welding on this chair will not hold up over time. This chair was used in a vanity, so it does get daily use, but, the daily use is about 10-20 minutes in the morning and 15-20 minutes in the evening during the work week, if that and practically no use on the weekends. Purchased in 2018, I can't remember exactly when the welding on one of the legs broke, but I don't think it was much past a year. The chair sat without use for several months while I was away at school too. I still have it and have finagled it to be a rickety chair because I just really like the look of it, especially because the color matches my vanity so well, and haven't been bothered to by another, but the screws loosen so often, fall out and it's a special allen key needed to tighten them that I cannot find now. It was never used beyond the weight capacity, never used roughly, never moved from the vanity, and no kids every used for playing.It's okay in the comfort department, the cushion lasts okay and doesn't pill much. It's not overly filled, but it doesn't flatten either. The cushion cover isn't removeable (unless maybe you take the chair apart, which I haven't done), but in the few years I've had it, I also haven't seen it stain either. I've only had to even spot clean it from a makeup "stain"once, and I use a simple spray fabric cleaner and a disinfectant from time to time.The quality of the paint and metal (besides the welding) is pretty good. I would generally recommend if you know how to weld and can reinforce the legs. But if you cannot, I would look for something else.

Looks really nice and is nicely cushioned. Great product for the price., Was very easy to assemble, despite poor directions with hardware that didn't exactly match the instructions! DUH to whoever put together the instruction sheet!!! But don't let that scare you off from buying this chair, it's very sturdy and a great buy for the money. Just lay out the hardware, read over the instructions, see where they don't quite jive, and if I can figure it out... so can you. Btw, I needed no help putting this together at all... don't be silly.

Watch that you do not overtighten the fasteners. They strip very easily.
