Great nailer at a awesome price
I've been wanting an air gun brad nailer for quite some time now. I didn't need anything too fancy, but spending several hundred for a nail gun and air compressor was just too much. A relative told me about the Senco kit and I decided to go for it.I love this nailer. I build woodworking projects as a hobby, and I don't know how I ever survived without this. The nailer is outstanding. Quickly and effortlessly drives brads without leaving a mark on the surface of the wood. Easy to adjust the depth of the brad drive. The gun can use several sizes of brads as well (and this kit comes with a nice variety of brads). So far I have had zero misfires in about 100 shots. The compressor is nice too. Lightweight and easy to carry around. It usually has to recharge the compression about every 5-8 shots, which can take 10-20 seconds, however, if you're not nailing too quickly, you can continue to nail while it pumps. It takes about 2-3 minutes to fully charge from being empty.I think the instruction manual is a little light on information. There was no information on attaching the hose connector to the back of the brad gun. The kit came with some plumber's tape, so I assumed that I needed to put a little of that on the connector and then screw the connector into the back of the brad gun. It seemed to work fine, but I don't like having to make a guess as to how to put the kit together!I'm sure this is not the quickest compressor, but for the money and the size, it works just fine. This is a very handy tool and really makes my projects go a whole lot faster. I would highly recommend this to someone looking for a simple easy to use compressor kit.

Compact Compressor with medium low db
Just received my Senco compressor kit via overnight UPS for a total of $203.99, pretty decent deal considering the premium on small/low db compressors. First impressions: Can't believe everything in the kit fits in that tiny box just left at my doorstep. Bring it in and start unboxing. There's no styrofoam to protect the compressor in case the box gets thrown around, but I see no damage from its short time with UPS. Pull everything out and find an air compressor the size of a milk crate, this thing is tiny, hard to get any scale from pictures. Get everything all plugged together for the real test, sound, how loud is it really.I had the hardest time deciding between this Senco unit and the Rolair JC10 because there is a great utube video review of the JC10 to see how quiet it is/ how it performs yet there aren't any of the Senco of equal quality. I ended up taking a chance on the Senco because of the 20lb weight vs 40lb JC10 and because everything was included to get trimming.Plug it in and it hums at a level that you have to raise your voice slightly standing right next to it so you could keep talking. Its much more acceptable than the PC pancake I used to install wood floors which it just plain loud and shakes the house, but its not as quite as the JC10 which is whisper quiet. I compare it to the sound of my Keurig B40 pumping water which would require you to speak up, but no one complains when coffee is pumping.I popped in a few 2" brads tonight on a small piece of trim and the unit works very nice. I can't imagine being slowed down by the PC1010 or having to wait for it to pump as a homeowner installing any trim in the house. This thing handled the brad nailer without breaking a sweat. I stretched the hose to about 10' which will probably be my max range working with the compressor nearby, I wouldn't plan on getting a realistic 25' range of stretch without pulling the compressor over the floor like a shopvac.Bottom line, I'm keeping it based on the combination of features and especially the weight/size, have it tucked up on a coat closet shelf now- gun and hose hooked on compressor so I couldn't be happier.

Work Saver
I bought a different (more expensive),system from one of the big box stores, but after going online and reading the reviews for that product, I returned it and bought the Senco kit. So far it has performed perfectly. The compressor is very quiet and easy to move about. The nailer is simple to use, and it saved me a great deal of time and agrivation re-installing my crown molding. I will most likely not use this very often; because, I am just a putter around the house kind of guy,but for the price of this system compared to a more expensive one, I can use it until the thing finally gives out, and purchase a new one. The only drawback that I could find, is that the cord for the compressor is very short, but for the price I can move to a different outlet as it becomes necessary.
