The dress is beautiful and comfortable. Love the pockets. Alas, it was too long and even higher heels wouldn't compensate for the length. Thought about altering the length to lower calf but that would damage the lovely lace details so will return for a lower calf dress. Am 5'4", size 12, 135lbs.Also, the dress has major lilac tone to the grey.

The dress is beautiful, understated "bling," - fit perfect, (long, will need to take up about 4 inches) and perfect for the occasion Im attending..

But wrong color they send it me. I thought it would be white but they send me a brown. So I have to return it.

I bought this for my son’s wedding. What a beautiful dress. Runs true to size. Unfortunately the top part of the dress that isn’t lined was too itchy for me so I had to return it.

I’ve tried on lots of MOB dresses and wanted to show photos as that helped me when I was looking. I’m around 5’3” and 120 lb. This dress is a 4 petite I believe. The length was perfect with flats or low heel. Hard to describe color. Sorta pale purple or mauve. I really liked this dress. It fit nicely but was somewhat wide at my waist. I almost bought this but my daughter didn’t feel the color was quite right for my skin tone.

I love the slight stretch to this textured fabric. Fits nicely around arms and lays flat. Very comfortable and perfect for a Spring wedding!

Tried it on and returned immediately . The lace was incredibly itchy definitely not something I wanted to wear for hours on my daughters wedding day

Alex Evening's size 16 Petite fits me, but dresses are rarely available in that size. When available, they often cost more than the same style in a regular size. My measurements are 46-40-46, 5'3". I tried this style 16 Petite. I think it needs to be taken in at the shoulders or something. I don't like that you can see my bra in the right armhole, probably because I'm holding my arm out to take the selfies. Fabric is mid- to heavy-weight and comfortable. Dress is fully lined. The sequined, corded, and embroidered pattern seems designed to hide body "imperfections" and to minimize chafing under the arms. I can't write about durability because I just got it, but it seems very well-made. Ice sage color matches picture. The "shawl" is just a big rectangle 18" x 70" of chiffon--no beading, bit nicely finished with a loop for hanging. It also has a large manufacturer's label near one end that would need to be removed with care to avoid damaging the fabric. It is a lovely mother of the bride or groom gown!

After reading reviews, I made sure to measure and order the size according to my measurements. It fits perfectly and shows the curve at my waist which I like. I am 5'3" and the length for the petite size was perfect, no hemming required.One review had said the color was more grey but I find in the light it shows light blue nicely; in darker setting it can look a bit grey.It is elegant and classy, well made. It could be a bit warm for a summer event but I'm not sure yet. My son's wedding is in July so I will see then.Delivery was very quick, ordered Sunday and arrived Wed.I am very happy with my purchase and can't wait to wear it.

Thank you for the speedy delivery of this beautiful dress! I wasn't sure what to expect for an "on-line" purchase but all I can say is the picture does not do this dress justice!! The colour is a gray-blue and the lace is just lovely - it is shaded with blue and gold accents - so very elegant! It also comes with a matching chiffon shawl!! The dress is a lovely princess-line and is very flattering - I can't wait to wear it to my son's wedding!!

It is a very pretty wisteria colour. Nice and light to go with many other colors. I did send it back though just because it was very itchy. If they could find another type of lace it would be perfect.

The dress is absolutely beautiful and fit as expected however the description says that it comes with a shawl and no shawl was included. Am returning it and ordering again in hopes of getting the shawl next time.

I bought it for my daughter’s wedding and as soon as it arrived I knew it would be perfect. I had ordered 2 more from the Alex line but found the hems were not what I was looking for. The rose in the dress is slightly darker, but I prefer that shade. I’m 5’6” and will still need to hem it a little.
