I THOUGHT that these were excellent when I received them- I even wrote a 5 star review! They looked great, and seemingly were a solid deal. Fast forward to 2 months later, and I notice black stuff creeping up on the rings. I tried to clean it, and it was impossible. Soon enough it became obvious that this black "stuff" was mold, and it was on all of the coasters. Also, they all became warped, which is not a desirable coaster feature.These were used in an adult only home, once a day or less, and were immediately dried after use. Do not buy these if you actually need to use your coasters.

I bought these to personalize/engrave with a laser engraver. Several of them seem to be coated with a yellow-ish sickly looking chemical. I don't know what it is. I'm not going to engrave them for two reasons - #1 being that I don't know what the chemical is and if it's safe for combustion when engraving with a laser, and #2 being that they look like trash. I'd be embarrassed to give these out as a gift.The second problem is that the bottom of them are already engraved with a massive and poorly done mark of the company that they came from. I can't engrave my own company info on the bottom of these, and the photos/description make no mention of this fact.

These can't handle the condensation from one iced drink over a few hours; worse, because of the design, as soon as there's standing water and empty space in the center, cups can create a water-sealed vacuum, so the lightweight coasters can come up with your cup when you grab it, only to immediately fall back down and make a loud noise and spill the condensation everywhere!After two weeks of use, they have discolored and turned white, and then black in one area as, presumably, mold has begun to grow. If they are allowed to dry fully between uses this might not be an issue?Their only saving grace is that they look nice and aren't bulky. They also don't slide too easily, even on my smooth wood-finish furniture.

I recently decided to redecorate our dining room so I bought new placemats and wanted some coasters as well. We have a lot of bamboo products in our kitchen and I love the look so I was mainly looking for bamboo coasters. I'd also ordered a few products from this company and liked them enough so, when I saw these coasters, I decided to take a chance on them.This coaster set contains a total of seven pieces, which are six coasters and one coaster holder. Each coaster measures 4 3/8 inches in diameter and 3/8 inches high. The coasters have three rings cut into each, making them look like bulls eyes. The holder is designed to hold all six coasters when they aren't in use and there are three pieces to hold the coasters in place. The bottom of the holder has three rubber feet to keep the wood from scratching your tables. If you need to clean these, it's recommended you hand wash with a mild soap and water and dry thoroughly. These coasters are made in China.I was excited to receive these coasters and start using them! I keep them on our dining room table for when I'm working on my laptop and need a coaster since I don't want to damage our table. I also like these coasters because we have four-year-old twins who like to play with new "toys" and I didn't want anything that would break easily. In my experience with bamboo products, a way to keep them in good shape is to use mineral oil, which you can find inexpensively in the pharmacy section of any store. As soon as these arrived, I put a little mineral oil on a paper towel and rubbed the paper towel all over each coaster. For the rings, I used a cotton swab, dipped it in the oil and ran it over each ring. If there is excess oil, just rub it off with a clean paper towel.We've had these coasters for about a month and a half and, even with my mineral oil trick, they are still showing some wear. Whenever I see this, I rub some mineral oil on them but they still look like they are wearing down faster than I would've liked. I like the design and how these coasters can catch water and condensation but they are also fairly high-maintenance to keep them in good shape. When I see water on them, I always wipe them off to prevent it from just sitting on the coaster. I liked these coasters to start and the price was good since they were an add-on item but I don't feel they will last that long since they are already showing some water damage. Next time I need coasters, I will be purchasing something that is better-quality and that will hopefully last a long time. For these reasons, I don't recommend these coasters.

They look nice, and there's a bunch of them. Supposing you are someone that actually has people over to socialize while sipping on a beverage, having 6 of these good looking bad boys makes sense. The more coasters the merrier, as the old saying goes.Unfortunately, I've had a couple split apart. I'm not throwing them at walls or practicing ninja chops with them; they are only used to place tasty beverages on. Seems like cheap glue bonding these together, but the remainders seem to be fine. In all honesty, I rarely have the want or opportunity to have people over that may require use of all of these coasters, so maybe this is a blessing in disguise. A chance to un-clutter my place a bit and live a simpler, minimal coaster lifestyle.The same lack of quality goes for the coaster holder. One of the arms wiggles and wobbles, but it has not yet broken away and continues to hold coasters with an admirable vigilance despite the injury.As another poster eloquently stated regarding these not sopping up liquid - duh. They are stained bamboo and that's not part of their deal. These do have ringed cuts in them to allow for a bit of drainage from a bottle or cup, and that's been enough for me.

I do really like these coasters. They look nice and feel nice, however they were much lighter than the photo/color we chose. It was supposed to match the end table but it is what it is. This would have been a much higher rating but upon closer inspection while I was taking photos for this review I noticed one of them had been broken and someone simply glued it back together! But other than the color being slightly off and the single damaged coaster, they are lovely! I just had a bit of bad luck is all.

Exactly that colour, shape, and the size was as described.Like another user pointed out, these are fairly slick on the bottom because there aren't any grips or felt patches on them. I had a bunch and stuck them onto four of these coasters, which solved that problem, but the extra thickness (and these were the thin felt pads!) meant that sticking pads onto all eight would've had them overflowing from the holder.Still, unless you're trying to use these on a train or accidentally keep hitting your coasters with your cups, the slippery bottoms aren't actually an issue because the cups themselves weigh the coaster down in place. But just FYI. :)

There's six coasters, they're made out of bamboo, there's a holding stand, which is also made out of bamboo. I can put them on my tables, and put cups and mugs and bottles on top of them. So exactly what I wanted and needed!

El tamaño es el de un vaso estándar mediano-grande de vidrio, son de excelente calidad y el precio me parece idóneo para el producto. Llegó poco antes de lo esperado.
