SensorCan 13 Gallon Oval Sensor Trash Can, AC Adapter, AbsorbX Odor Filter

So far it is great, I have only had it a few days. It is so much quieter than the old sensor can I had and a lot bigger. I also love the fact that I can plug it in and do not have to worry about batteries. Would buy it again.

I’m not sure why this product is marked as a frequently returned item, as for me, it’s SUPER convenient. I got tired of using my small trash can that had only a foot pedal to open, as I’ve got 5 guinea pigs to take care of daily. So as soon as I saw this, I knew I needed to give it a try. It’s worth every penny imo; plus it arrived earlier than expected (wasn’t supposed to arrive until today, got it on the 2nd instead). It moves nicely, easy on my bedroom carpet & just a simple wave of my hand/arm close enough for the sensor to activate the lid is more than enough. What I didn’t realize was the outlet is purchased separately (I thought it was missing from the package until I read the manual) and thankfully I ordered it that same day & it came the following day; way better than purchasing the size D batteries, my personal opinion. The lid also opens appropriately as it should & it’s just overall a fantastic product! Also if you need the lid open for a certain amount of time so you can just continue throwing stuff away without triggering the sensor every time, just press the open button twice & it’ll stay open for a good almost 10 minutes! I swear by it! Worth every penny

No one warned me that in my adult life, running a household, I would search for an ideal freaking garbage can. In 52. I've found it. I have had every type of can. I know everything we all hate. I've seen the first of the motion sensors that were worthless. This is the evolution of the garbage can. First and foremost, the height is so important. If my people have a shorter can, the floor gets too much action. Spills splatter on the can and throwing away the garbage opens the fire for needed etiquette classes. The step on cans shove into the wall and scratch it all up. Plus if the can is touching the wall food spatters seem to appear weekly. Without the ring, bags fall into the can when something heavier is placed inside and there is at least one of my people that doesn't care and will continue to add garbage. The ring for the bag on this can stops that. NOTE: The ring can somehow be thrown away by people who don't pay attention. They may think it's garbage. I know because they almost threw mine away. I seriously did a video and sent everyone and..... I digress. I love that my garbage is not overfilled so quickly now. I still have to take it out at least every other day. But it's easy to clean. It's easy to use and after a few months we are still in the same battery and everything working great. Love love love my kitchen buddy. Silliness? Maybe. A wonderful garbage can? YES!

Mostly ok. Seems slow to open despite batteries and being plugged in. Has one small area that activates the lid to open. The can itself is thin, not heavy duty. I do like the wheels , it is stable and it is quiet. I do like bag retention system, seems like I can put more in the bag before emptying compared to my last can. The filter seems to work. Overall , it’s meh.

I love itouchless trash cans. I realized after my first purchase with this company, I brought the wrong shape for my needs. I found the oval shape which is different from the square shaped trash can I brought originally only in the sense that when I go to dump trash from my standing dusting pan, there is no issue in getting the dust pan to properly empty in the can without it dumping outside the trash receptacle. I also upgraded in size because it’ll make it easier to dump a lot of trash out in one sitting. The odor filter does its job and when it opens and closes, the noise level is very minimal. This trash canis taller than my previous trash can so my cats can’t really play with by opening the can by activating the motion sensor. It also doesn’t have a locking mechanism like my last can. I used some la awesome to clean the stainless steel can and it quickly got rid of stains. I find it to be solidly built. If there is one thing I say is a negative is that there are holes in the bottom of the trash can, assuming they are there to filter out liquid when the trash bags break and you need to clean out the inside. If the bag bust out then the liquid falls on the kitchen floor until I can transfer to tub to clean it properly. It functions very well but I had to ask for a replacement lid since its giving me a hard time in closing the lid. It was promptly replaced now all I have to do is it operated by electricity. Overall, this is well worth not gettin germs.

This was a big disappointment. Poor design, poor workmanship.... This trash can cost $98!!!! I expected a lot more than some cheesy tin can with science-project type parts. I am returning it - thankfully, Amazon's return process is not too painful. 1. The plastic rim that supposedly holds the plastic trash bag - doesn't fit right so it repeatedly falls into the can. That alone qualifies a full return. 2. The "odor filter" dangles off the inside back end of the lid, so it will get dirty real quick and fill up easily with cruddy trash. 3. The trash can says it's "touchless" but won't work unless you buy the required FOUR size "D" batteries or a power adapter to operate. D batteries don't last very long. And guess what - the power adapter isn't included! "Sold separately." So right off, you can't even use the thing. For $98?! They should have included the $15 power adapter. 4. It can't be opened manually with any ease at all. You have to have long fingernails to wedge it under the lid to lift it. For trash, the last thing I want to do it wedge my fingernail into anything. 5. The lid hinge is very flimsy and the lid is extremely lightweight. It doesn't go down all the way. I can see the hinge breaking after a few uses. It's also very thin so it won't be any protection for bad trashy odors. I can see why this is frequently returned. Poor design, subpar materials, extra costs, constant filter and power upkeep.... the only good thing is that it has wheels. But I'm not paying $98 for a tin can with wheels. I'll spend $30 and get a heavy-duty plastic trash bin.

This is the BEST trash can I have ever owned. No more replacing batteries, since it plugs into the wall (with optional adapter). I can shut the sensor off so my dog cannot get into the garbage while I am away. The odor control is great! I ordered the larger can, but I can use the 13-gallon bags I already have on hand. The only thing that I assume will break is the ring that you put the garbage bag around. It is plastic; it should be metal for durability. But overall, I am extremely pleased with this trash can!

Simple to put together, larger than we thought. Looks sturdy and well manufactured.

Ya tiene casi un año que lo compre y funciona perfecto ya sea enchufado o con las pilas , súper recomendable .

Es un bote de basura excelente, se ve muy bien y aparenta ser pequeño pero por dentro es muy espacioso, la tapa es amplia, a diferencia de otros comentarios no se activa el movimiento de la tapa con cualquier movimiento, te debes de acercar mucho a el, lo que me parece perfecto para que no se gasten las baterias, tengo una semana con el y al parecer lo volveria a comprar y puedo recomendarlo

Déçue. J'ai reçu une boîte avec "ouverture manuelle" : pas d'adaptateur au format Européen/Français, c'est pourtant indiqué "Cette offre comprend un adaptateur CA pour une utilisation sans piles" (en Français...)
