Works well and can be very useful.
I've only used this once but I'm impressed. The plastic safety strap on the back of my hard hat snapped so I stuck it back together with three hot staples. Job done. (Before the health and safety people go ballistic I only use this once a year scrubbing barnacles from a boat hull so being hit with a small barnacle is all I'll ever encounter)

Worked for my motorbike panel's
Had a honda deauville 650 that few panels broke after a few attempts all back together. Did add fibre glass over it all on the back side to add extra strength.

Good piece of kit
Heats up quickly and melts the plastic well.I've used it to fix a freezer drawer and the fairing on a motorbike. It takes a little practice especially when dealing with thin material.Little tip when the staples are pushed in to the molten material twist a little, release the trigger and allow to harden before withdrawing the tool. Also get a good pair of wire snips to get a flush cut.
