Spanish-English Dictionary (Barron's Bilingual Dictionaries)

I outgrew the very basic dictionaries. I'd say I'm at an intermediate level for Spanish. This one has more words plus it's up to date. Useful prefix and suffix tables, maps etc. It's big and klunky, but worth using to understand exactly which word to use and the type is bigger and comfortable to read. I like the plastic cover. I haven't tried the free electronic dictionary, but there are online dictionaries too, so I don't know how useful that is.

Book is awesome for those who need a little help from verbs to prefixes and some many to list in this book. I love how the book is made and the binder is not paper so you know this book will take many years of abuse.

It's huge. Definately a shelf dictionary. I was also uncertain about some of the phrases And terms in the dictionary after having a conversation with a Spanish speaker from Peru, who understood what I was saying but the expression was not correct in its meaning.

It took awhile to get to me. I’m glad it wasn’t a gift for someone. Apparently I didn’t read the detail of the book size...it is huge! I haven’t used it much yet, but I like what I’ve seen. It’s much better than the Spanish dictionary I had before.This is NOT a pocket dictionary!!!

3/07/2021 Just received my Spanish English Dictionary and all I can say is SERIOUSLY!! If I paid for a new item I expect it to be new and not broken or chipped. I didn't pay for broken. I am sure the actual dictionary is fine but I ratter not get stabbed in the hand every time I pick up this book the cover is like a hard plastic.3/9/21 I received a brand new Spanish English Dictionary in perfect condition, and sent the defective one back. Quick turn around and another satisfied customer. Thanks.😀

I like it very much, even my wife likes it. She wants to learn Spanish and the dictionary is very helpful, she looks for the meaning of the word in English and goes from there. Now she talks to me in Spanish a little bit once in a while, I recommend to everyone. This is a great Dictionary.

This dictionary exceeded my expectations. It is a heavy duty, very well made book, with a plastic coated cover and a fabric stiched binding that will last many years. It is an excellent value.

Very well laid out. High quality. Both English - French and visa versa.The electronic version however, is only available for PC's running windows,and don't work on smart phones and tablets.

I bought this dictionary for my friend . She was very happy . Because it is not just a dictionary. It is more like that . Thank you so . I recommend this .

It is very great, better than I thought. The first half is French to English, the second half is English to French,which is I didn't know when I buy it. It is so good for my kid start to learn French. Totally worth it!
