Very Insightful for the average golfer
This book breaks down the science of how to improve your golf swing and lower your score. The author goes into detail on how launch monitors are making players better by hitting the sweet spot on the club head. If you are looking to lower your score and enjoy the game more, get this book.

Enlightening
Plenty to learn here. Some of which can be use to improve my game; other to improve my knowledge of others’ games.

Poorly written and edited, and full of misinformation
This book is extremely poorly written and edited, and much of the information it presents about the technical aspects of golf: the ball, the clubs, etc. is at best poorly presented, and at worst just plain incorrect (but, sadly, accepted as fact by the many non-technically trained people in the golf industry.)Hard pass...

A Thorough Examination of Golf
Will’s passion for golf comes through in this book in the way he uncovers every aspect of the game to satisfy the very difficult task of identifying and explaining the almost limitless ways science impacts the sport. His history playing, broadcasting and interacting with golf is weaved through his insatiable appetite to answer his own curiosities. If you love the sport the way he does, you’ll learn something more about it, just like he did.

Great summary of golf tech for all levels of golfers
This book is every effective in laying out the recent innovations along with where the game of golf is likely headed. Will does so less like a laundry list but with some story-telling that involves quotes/insight from some of the top tour pros and smartest minds in the sport today. For that it makes the purchase price (less than $20) a decent value. In one fell swoop golfers can catch up on some of the biggest changes in the sport over the last two decades in a form that would be easy to consume over a few days.Highly recommended for all levels of golfers who want to get a grasp on all the technological innovations currently happening in the world of golf.

Excellent golf book.
The book "The Science of GOLF" written by Will Haskett is a very interesting book for today's golfer. After all, we have recently received "launch monitors", multi-layer golf balls, new clubs, etc., so engineers and technology are already guiding development to a large extent. But the "hard ware" isn't all about golf. Research has brought fitness, body biomechanics, flexibility, strength, mental strength into the picture, and even that's not all.The picture from the beginning of chapter 1 gives a good start to the content of the book. The table of contents shows the structure and content of the book. The book interviews well-known pro players. Each chapter of the book goes deep, so I don't think you can read this book at the same speed as a detective story. It took me two months and I still often have to go back to different parts of the book. I present my best recommendations for the book.
