I bought this to find out I didn't need it
I thought this was the broken part of the dishwasher, because it was laying in the bottom rack when my son opened the dishwasher. But only by having this did I realize I needed a smaller, much less expensive part to fix the thing. But yes, it is easy to assemble and would have worked just fine- if I had needed it.
