It makes all the difference *by C***E on October 17, 2024* We have a few infrared remotes for our Samsung TV, and you have to point them straight at the TV if you want it to work. Line of sight is important for infrared. This is Bluetooth, which means you don't have to point it directly at the TV. So if your cats are in the way, you can still pause your movie when the delivery driver rings your doorbell. This was $22 when I bought it. It's normally between $35 - $40. I think that's a little expensive considering I can get an infrared one for a lot less. Infrared works just fine. It's just BT works soooo much better.
