I have been using the Grenade High Protein, Low Sugar Bars for a while now, and I must say, they are a fantastic addition to my diet, especially when I'm weight training. Having tried several of the flavours, I’ve found that the Caramel Chaos version stands out as my absolute favourite. The balance of sweetness and the rich caramel taste makes it a satisfying treat without feeling overly indulgent. The texture is also great – not too hard or chewy, which can be a challenge with some protein bars.These bars have become a staple in my weekly routine. I primarily use them as a convenient snack post-workout or even as a quick meal replacement on busy days. They pack a solid amount of protein, which helps with muscle recovery and supports my training goals. Plus, the low sugar content means I can enjoy them guilt-free, knowing they’re not packed with unnecessary carbs.That said, I think it’s important to point out something for vegetarians and vegans. Based on the list of ingredients, there are several components that may not be suitable:Milk Protein, Calcium Caseinate (Milk), Whey Protein (Milk): These are derived from milk, making the bars unsuitable for vegans and non-dairy vegetarians.Milk Chocolate with Sweetener (Whole Milk Powder): Another dairy-derived ingredient.Bovine Collagen Hydrolysed: This is sourced from cows and is not suitable for vegetarians or vegans.Additionally, some ambiguous ingredients like glycerol and natural flavourings may be animal-derived, so it’s worth confirming with the manufacturer if you’re unsure.Overall, the Grenade High Protein, Low Sugar Bars are a great option for those looking for a high-protein snack to supplement their diet, especially if you're into fitness and weight training like me. Delicious. Not like your typical protein bars that taste like powder.

I recently picked up a box of 12 Grenade Caramel Chaos Bars when they were on offer, at just over £1.40 a bar, they were a steal! I'm always looking for high-protein snacks to keep me going throughout the day, and these bars definitely fit the bill.Each bar packs in 21g of protein for just 203 calories and 1.5g of fat, which is pretty impressive. They have a lovely chocolate coating, a layer of crunchy bits, and a dense, nougat-like centre. The flavour is a decent chocolate caramel, although the texture is a bit on the dry side. I'd compare the overall experience to a compact Double Decker.While I still prefer Fulfil protein bars, which have similar macros but taste more like a traditional chocolate bar, they are usually twice the price (for a box of 15).These Grenade bars are a fantastic alternative, especially when on offer. They really hit the spot when I'm craving something sweet and chocolatey, without the guilt.I'd definitely recommend these bars to anyone looking for a good value, high-protein snack.

Good taste and you aren’t hungry for a while

I have probably tried and tested every protein supplement over the years during my training which is mainly in the area of crossfit and powerlifting. Over the past 5 years i have put a bigger emphasis on my diet and importantly my macros which has made a huge difference to my performance and strength. With that in mind i aim to consume around 1g of protein for every kg of bodyweight where i sit between 90 - 95kg. Therefor its important to be able to consume good clean protein throughout the day including fish, chicken, meat etc - however when im busy or travelling i always aim to have a protein bar at hand. For many years i was a fan of Maximuscle bars and whey but recently have switched to Gold Standard whey which i believe to be a superior product for me personally, however when it comes to bars there are so many variations and Maximuscle and Quest were my chosen options for several years but both in my opinion dont really taste great and can also give me some stomach issues. But i felt they were the best on the market until i bought the Grenade Carb Killa bars. They are soooo good! Taste amazing and shocked at how they can make them taste this good with such limited impact carbs and sugar. Reading the ingredients in term of how they are listed show that the protein sources are high quality and a mix of whey isolate. The caramel chaos bars are the only ones i have tried and they taste identical to a double decker bar in terms of texture, flavour and importantly dont give me an upset stomach. I highly recommend these bars to anyone wanting easy access to super tasty protein bars!

I have bought and used this product many times, always tasted great. Ordered 2 boxes of 12 last weekTries one, it was crumbly, tasted sour and looked awful. Thought oh maybe 1 x mis-packaged. Ah, the Grenade Caramel Chaos bar! It's a delightful caramel tornado with a sprinkle of protein. Who needs sugar when you have chaos in every bite? Perfect for living snack-time on the edge!
