How does this work with thin hair?

The Hard Water Pomade is great for thin hair. It has a firm hold that provides dimension, shine and all-day control without stiffness.

Is the hold the same as the clay pomade? Or better hold?

Clay Pomade has a matte finish and Hard Water Pomade has a shiny finish. Both pomades deliver a firm hold

this is the real baxter of California product, right? not counterfeit?

I've bought this in a boutique and here and both seem to be the same.
