A little goes a long way
I purchased this product based on some general research on MoS2 paste and its apparent superior high performance over grease for certain applications. I was searching for a high performance product that adhered well to metal surfaces, had a high water resistivity and excellant anti-corrosion and lubricating properties, it looked like MoS2 paste fitted the bill. My primary use for this paste was on the inner driveshaft splines of a VW T5, which you may not regard as a high performance application, but driveshaft wear on this VW model is a particular problem due to its design - water can ingress between the splines and cause corrosion, accelerated wear and eventual failure if not corrected. Of the earlier T5 production it has been observed that the splines were not greased during assembly in the factory when they were built. With this in mind I decided to purchase a high performance product to apply to the driveshaft splines of my T5, perhaps an advanced grease would of sufficed but I wanted something better, I wanted to be sure. What also cemented my decision to use an MoS2 paste for my application was the fact that Honda and Suzuki use MoS2 pastes on their motorcycle driveshaft splines, that's good enough for me.The product itself from Liqui Moly appears to be in the lower / mid price range as far as MoS2 pastes go. Being a German product always gives one that sense of quality and reliability (perhaps with the exception of VW T5 driveshaft design of course haha). There is only 50g of paste in this particular tube which makes it sound pricey; however, it does appear to go a long way and the price could be justified due to the fact that it is meant to be high performance commodity. Time may tell. I applied it with a small paintbrush and it spreads very easily, generally a thin film is all that is required so I envisage the tube may last some time. It does also states that it can be applied in excess. I am also using it an general anti-seize and anti-corrosion paste on threads e.g. ball joints threads. It's difficult to provide a complete review at the time of writing in respect to the longterm performance of this assembly paste since I have only recently bought the product and used it on a number of assembly applications. Only after some time, when I have disassembled the driveshaft for inspection and reapplication of the paste (as part of a maintenance regime), can I hopefully provide a more refined opinion.

A fantastic assembly lube
I brought this one along with another one. The other lube wasn’t as good as this one I had to remove the other lube and replace it with this one on all bearing surfaces as the other one was so thick it caused the crank to become super hard to spin where as this one spinning the crank was effortless. Would highly recommend this product

Must buy for engine rebuilds
Brilliant product, a must use to avoid dry starts on crank rebuilds

THE ONLY STUFF I USE, FOR REBUILD WORK
Certainly a wiser/safer option than just using engine oil (to coat parts during re-assembly)Hard to come up with a criticism, other than wishing it came in larger sizes - it's quitepricey in these little tubes

Its just the best
I always buy this now as its the best ive tried. Its not a firm paste but quite soft and will run if left on upright cam lobes overnight for example. There may be better out there but i havent see it.
