Rhodia are my go to company for general use note pads. The bright Orange coloured cover has a soft covering which looks like it would give some water resistance. The tri-fold pre creased folds on the top of the cover allow it to be easily folded behind tidily and at a range of positions during use. Paper is always a good quality- no bleed through using a standard biro, so both sides could be used. Perforations at the top of each page allow ease of use for clean removal of a page when needed. They come in a good range of sizes and paper styles eg lined, squares dots or blanks. You can find exactly what you need. I usually buy bulk when on offer which makes these good value for money. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend these notepads!

Now this i love! A colleague had one and I sought it out. For me I use a page a day for notes, reminders, doodles in the office. Helps organise as it is large (only suitable for a clear desk really). Tick off as I go. At the end of the day rip of the page and recycle of course. Fresh page for the morning. There are cheaper notpads, but this is of good quality, pages are thick enough not to bleed through. I will definitely get another one when this one is done. Super useful for my somewhat erratic brain.

I've used these pads for years. The paper is made by ClaireFontaine - a major French paper manufacturer. Smooth, solid pads, don't fall apart, with tear off pages. They take some beating. The small squares, rather than lines on these pads, are very useful and are far more common on French writing pads than traditional lines on UK ones. Don't let that put you off buying these. Strongly recommended.

This large pad is v useful for mind mapping or mapping out presentations. Beautiful squared paper. Great quality. I always have one to hand.

My order of 2 Rhodia pads was filled & dispatched without delay. Even Australia Post can take a bow as the order arrived in excellent time & in perfect condition. :) Rhodia is nowadays owned, & its paper produced, by Clairefontaine in France, a company justly proud of its environmental credentials. This is quality smooth white vellum that will welcome any fountain pen! The pad of 80 sheets is stapled along the top long side but the staples don't extend through the back cover board (therefore no nicks to fingers or scratches on furniture). The front cover page is scored & bends neatly back out of the way. Gridlines are uniformly narrow in a light mauve, extending across the entire page (ie, there are no margins). There are 84 x 5mm squares left to right & 59 squares top to bottom (yes I counted them :D - it's important for something I'm doing). That said, with each page being finely perforated for removal just below the row of staples, it could be used just as easily in portrait layout as in landscape. If your preference is for more pronounced gridlines each centimetre plus blank margins around page edges, you should buy the Clairefontaine looseleaf product. For my needs, however, the Rhodia A3 square grid pad is perfect.
