Review: Love it - Best MJ album great vibes Review: a well engineered product, far ahead of its time - Michael Jackson gets a tough time from the media because of allegations made against him in 1993 which were settled out of court. Since then, he has struggled to maintain a strong output of new material in a suspicious world that is confused and misled by beguiling media and press reports, some of which try to suggest he is finished. Any artist who had to endure the media torture that Jackson underwent in the 1st half of the 90's would have been destroyed, but Michael has proved to be extremely resilient. Many press reports suggest that this new material offers no developments over previous offerings, but this is far from the case. The first thing you notice when you play this cd is the volume needs adjustment. The sound sparkles and kicks where it needs to, giving hints as to the supreme production standards.Unbreakable, Heartbreaker and Threatened form clues as to Jackson's remarkable versatility and creativity when it comes to weaving sounds together in rhythm. The new sounds pinpoint a hardwiring of the mechanical, industrial funky edge he has endeavoured to use in the hard edged compositions of recent years, but are a step up from History Disc 2, where Scream, Tabloid Junkie and History included more basic elements of this development.Jackson, despite giving us ever more funky sounds also plays to his strengths as a vocalist, giving many current artists of this ilk a standard to set for themselves into the bargain. With Break of Dawn and Speechless, he shows his remarkable depth and range as a singer, and I wouldn't be surprised if the sound of his voice in 2000 watts is natural, but an extension of his vocal skills in the opposite direction. With Privacy, Jackson has a measured composition mirroring what must be a desperate rage inside at his constant negative exposure in mass media terms. In spite of this heavy rock tune, the whole album is a move away from the self-pity and self-hatred that were underlying in History Disc 2 to a more music centred product. As usual, Jackson has created an album of depth and appeal to all-comers, but it is always going to face comparisons with Thriller. Whilst it is unlikely to have the immediate impact of the 80's albums, it is likely that Jackson will enjoy a huge revival in the distant future, for surely, much of his 90's and this current work are a hidden warning of the dangers of excess celebrity and are in fact angry glances at late 20th century/early 21st century life. Excellent work.

Invincible is another masterpiece from MJ and one of the best albums of the decade
Invincible (2001) Rating: 9/10 Invincible has been branded a flop, despite an astonishing 13 million sales to date. Okay it does not hold up to the 110 million sales of 'Thriller', the best selling album of all time, or 'Dangerous' with 32 million, but it has be to seen in perspective. For an MJ album it is disappointing, but for any other artist this would be cause for an early retirement. The media and public obsession with Michael Jackson, shifted attention from his music to his private life, which started harming his musical sales from the late 1990s onwards. His skills were undiminished, despite critics branding Invincible as a second rate MJ album. A good listen to Invincible and you will realise that this is another masterwork from the ultimate master, albeit different from previous albums. While this is no 'Thriller', 'Bad', 'Dangerous' or even 'HIStory', 'Invincible' is better than 99% of albums that have come out in the past decade. From classic Jacko with 'You Rock My World' and blistering ballads such as 'Butterflies' and the emotional 'Speechless' as well as the wondrous 'Whatever Happens', this is an album that should be savoured by any MJ fan. Michael Jackson was and will always be Invincible. The greatest gift to music the world has ever seen. The true King. By Michael Tapakoudes

Invincible
Michael Jackson's Invincible, the last ever album he released. I have to say this album is really different to his older ones from 1970s - late 1990s. I will review each song:- 1. Unbreakable (featuring The Notorious B.I.G.) 5/10 - This song is so rubbish, its just another Rap/R&B song, which you hear from other artists. It doesn't suit Michael Jackson at all. 2. Heartbreaker (featuring Fats) 5/10 - this song sounds the exact same as the "Unbreakable" song, and its just the same Rap/R&B with nearly the same beat but different lyrics. 3. Invincible (featuring Fats) 5/10 - i can't believe it when i got to this song, its like copy and pasting the music and changing the lyrics, what is going on Michael? 4. Break Of Dawn 8/10 - WOW! a song that doesn't sound the same as the 3 above, and it doesn't have rap in it which makes it more of a better song in a way. 5. Heaven Can Wait 8/10 - nearly the same sort of music as "Break Of Dawn" and it is properly got the same layout but different lyrics. 6. You Rock My World 10/10 - This song is so great! This is the best song i heard yet on this album, and so different to the others. 7. Butterflies 10/10 - This is a really nice R&B ballad, and it really has a good beat and nice lyrics. 8. Speechless 10/10 - This song again is a great ballad, its the 2nd ballad and is so great and levels up to "Butterflies". 9. 2000 Watts 9/10 - not bad song actually, and wow Michael Jackson has a deep voice in this, i was shocked, sounds like a complete different person. A great fast moving pace song. 10. You Are My Life 10/10 - This is the 3rd ballad so far, and is really nice, and has great lyrics and the chorus does get in your mind. 11. Privacy (featuring guitar solo by Slash) 9/10 - This is a quite a catch song when you get into it, it is the first song to have a guitar in it, with Slash. 12. Don't Walk Away 10/10 - this is the 4th ballad on the album, as is such a great song, with nice lyrics and his voice is great as always. 13. Cry 10/10 - This song is so great, and has great lyrics, and is the 5th ballad on this album! 14. The Lost Children 10/10 - This is the 6th and final ballad on the album, and is a very nice song, showing Micheal's feelings and the lyrics mean a lot. 15. Whatever Happens 9/10 - not a bad song, better then the beginning songs, it has a catchy chorus and nice lyrics. 16. Threatened 10/10 - what a great song to end the album, its very catchy and reminds me of his 90s work. In overall, i think this album has a rubbish beginning but great ending. Michael Jackson most properly rushed the beginning bit, and kept to his old ways. There are 6 ballads on this album, the most he has had on an album, and they are all great, so its must buy if you like Michael Jackson no matter what.

Santana). Fosse stato realizzato in questi anni sarebbe considerato un moderno masterpiece del genere.

This CD is outstanding. Some of the songs are smooth and vibrant and give a warm feeling about the good things in life. I wanted to purchased this CD when it first came out for I heard some songs from it and enjoyed it. However my life's plight held me up from getting it. When I did finally go to purchase it from the stores they were all sold out. Then I remembered good old Amazon and there it was available for purchase. If you're thinking about purchasing it, well don't think about it purchase it you will not be disappointed.
