Children's First Cookbook: Have Fun in the Kitchen!

I have made biscuits with my 3 yr old grandson. He really enjoyed being involved. The clear instructions & very good photos really helped him to understand each stage. Would recommend it

I bought this book for my niece (3yrs) as my daughter (9yrs) has it and loves it.It features easy to follow recipes with step by step instructions and lovely bright pictures. My little girl and I have been using it since she was three and I found that as she got older she wanted to make different things from it - we've pretty much now made it everything in the book (several times).If you want a cookbook that will grow with your child then I would highly recommend this!

My 4 year old asked for a recipe book for Christmas and after looking at several in bookshops and online I went for this one. He likes looking through our recipe books and particularly likes Jamie Oliver's 5 ingredients book as there is a picture of each ingredient - so finding a book for him with decent pictures was important.He was so happy with the book. The recipes are simple enough for him to not lose interest and there is a good range (and not anything obscure that will never get made). He can be quite a picky eater, but wanted to try everything in the book. He also has a peanut & hazelnut allergy which can put him off cooking sometimes but he is able to make all the recipes.I would recommend this book to anyone who has a young child that is interested in cooking and baking.

My children love to cook and this is just another book. Nothing new, nothing creative. It’s not particularly healthy recipes and it doesn’t encourage children to try new things, but it’s fun and easy so not a bad book. I’d say great for a first book or for very young children, mine are 5 and 6 and it’s too easy for them but they want to try all the recipes in the book so it does appeal to children! Give it a try and see for yourself :)

This is a lovely cook book for children. I tried the cup cakes and was amazed at how light and fluffy they were. Bought two of these books for my grand children after visiting my relative who was using this book. Very simple recipe to follow. Great value book every household should have one

My daughter loved this book as she felt like she could get more involved in the kitchen and the recipes are more child friendly than others I’ve seen as my daughters quite picky but this book was great.

It's too good for this cost.. content wise really useful for kids.. who has showing interest in cooking and baking and parents who want to make thier children give a try for baking can buy it blindly.. pictorial and step by step very colorful book

Great little cookbook, if you want your children to experience cooking from a traditional book, as opposed to a tablet.Most of the ingredients are easy to come by and the recipes are quite nice.
