Got this for my first Spartan and it worked great. Now use it for trail runs and it’s perfect.

The vest itself is really nice. The neon is bright, and there's plenty of convenient spots to stash things. It took me one long run to shake it down and get it adjusted just right. No chaffing for me, but ymmv--I don't chafe a lot in general. One pro-tip if you keep your phone in the little tech pocket: fill that bottle a little lighter to keep the weight balanced.Speaking of bottles, the bottles are absolute garbage. I have put maybe 50 miles on the vest, taken good care of it, and generally not been abusive. Imagine my surprise when I took it out of the car before a long run and it was oddly light. And then I saw the puddle of water in my seat. Cool. One of the bottles sprung a pinhole leaked apropos of nothing. It's okay though, it's only $20 to replace that (please infer large amounts of sarcasm here). Cool. Even if you get a good deal on the vest, plan to replace bottles or just buy a reservoir.
