A quality knife at an affordable price.
The Odenwolf survavil knife is a very handy knife to have around when you’re out camping. It’s razor sharp and feels comfortable in the hand. I believe this knife can’t hold its own against any of the higher price brands.

A Good Knife Knifes!
And this one knifes well! With a blade size of just under 5 inches, it's a very strong piece of metal. It arrived razor-sharp, without a single spot of rust. I was able to use it for a wilderness course all weekend without having to sharpen it at all! As described, it is full tang, has a PTE grip that sits firmly in hand without slippage, and comes with a poly sheath for a little extra safety and security. At such a good price, I couldn't really ask for more.

Great knife at awesome price
ODENWOLF W-SCANDI Full Tang Survival Knife with Sheath is a steal of a knife and a fantastic deal at 40 bucks. Comes sharp and is well made for in the thirty to forty dollar range, truly a very spectacular knife. The scandi-grind is done perfectly and if you use a hand sharpener with a leather cover, just a bit of stropping and this work of art is shaving sharp. On top of that you get D2 steel at a bargain basement price. D2 is a decent budget steel that will hold an edge pretty well for a long time. For what you get at this price it will hold its own with a lot of the name brand bushcraft knives that sell for 3 to 4 times the cost of one of these little gems. The steel is thick and will hold up for years with just normal maintenance that you will have to perform for any knife you value and want to last. Having a strong background in camping and survival I am blown away every time I find an extreme deal for a tool that can help keep you alive in the back country.

Food stains blade, but Still great.
I love the knife but was disappointed as I had no clue that D2 steel stains when you use it with food. Still completely functional though. It held its edge and was still able to slice through paper after batoning with it. The knife throws real great sparks from my ferro rod. And the ridges on the spine work well to throw sparks on a stubborn used ferro rod. I don’t want a knife unless it has the ridges on the spine now. Feels like a bushcraft knife is not complete without it. The knife and sheath together are very lightweight and even fits in your pocket as an everyday carry if you so choose. I bought the green flat grind and the black scandi grind. And the scandi grind was pretty dull compared with the flat grind. But I have a sharpening system and it was real easy just to put a sharp edge to the scandi grind. I’ve bought a lot of different knives on amazon, and Odenwolf is one of my favorites, mainly because it’s the best knife to use to always get a spark off a ferro rod. Even 1095 with a sharp 90 degree spine struggles with a used ferro rod. But the ridges on this knife ensure that you can always get a spark.

Great knife very dull out of the box
Edit: it's on oden wolf website for $25 It looks like a quality knife out of the box. Nice fit and finish. No movement inside the kidex sheathing, fits great in the hand, feels very grippy, and a practical sized blade. Great value over all. I had a couple problems. 1 the knife was very very dull out of the box, comparable to a butter knife. I had alot of sharpening to do and only have an 800 grit with a strop bc mostly just need to maintain blades. It took a long time although not nearly as long as it should have to sharpen. I have other blades in D2 that are much more difficult to sharpen, which makes me wonder if it's actually d2 or maybe just a soft heat treatment. The reason I want d2 steel is for the edge retention it offers. I know they have other products in 440c and would be easy to mix up considering the lack of quality assurance (lack of qa bc the edge sharpness out of the box). 440c isnt a bad steel, it just dosnt have the properties i need for the application i planed on for this knife. It did however take a really nice hair popping edge. I need more time and testing to see edge retention properties

Great knife
Excellent knife, good quality hard durable steel. Comfortable handle and pretty good sheet. The only issue with the sheath is the plastic that connects to the loop isn't firm enough to hold up to a draw without pushing your thumb on the thumb ramp. I accidentally broke mine when trying to pull it out of the sheath but I replaced it with a different one I had and it works great. Would recommend buying a teklock with the knife if you would like to be able to draw the knife by just pulling it instead of having to push the sheath off with your thumb. The minor issue with the sheath was due to my neglect and shouldn't be counted against the company.

Por su tamaño, diseño y materiales es un excelente producto para bushcraft, campismo, senderismo, etc La relación entre calidad y precio es muy buena, aunada a una esmerada atención al cliente. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Great knife! Blade is sharp. Has good weight as it's not too light. Then again I prefer heavier knives. Light knives don't do the work for you when chopping down. The sheath is tight so there's no worry about the knife falling out. A bit pricey when you de the amazon.com site is much less even with currency exchange. But i will buy this knife again.

Handy ergonomic knife, first used on an overlanding trek across Labrador. Did not disappoint. Look to sharpen regularly.

This has to have been designed by some pencil pusher who thought it "looked" cool rather than understanding how hand tools work. The piece of tang that protrudes from the bottom of the handle forming the lanyard hole is on the same side as your palm, effectively shortening the usable handle length and putting a sharp piece of metal at the part of the handle you need to apple pressure in use. Trash. The handle plastic is hard and slippery, not particularly comfortably shaped and @ 20mm shorter than stated length due to the stupid design. The blade thickness is on the slim side and doesn't inspire confidence. I can only imagine all the glowing reviews are from men with tiny hands who have never used tools before. Way overpriced - this is a 30.00 tool at best if it was functional. Sheath requires a snap that is very stiff to open as well. Bad bad bad.
