This is great quality and easy to assemble. Played with all the time. Wood is actually great quality and withstands multiple toddlers and school aged kiddos.

I bought this for my son’s birthday when he turned 5 because he loves playing with pretend food and was asking for a cash register to pretend to sell the food as well and thought this was perfect! He was so excited on his birthday to get this and play with his other two brothers! It has gotten allot of play over the past month and has handled it very well! The only downside was it didn’t come with a battery cover, I rechecked all the trash and boxes several times over looking for one but couldn’t find one. Still works just fine though. The scanner makes a beep when anything is passed over it and the conveyor belt moves with a hand crank the kids love it. Plenty of storage for a bunch of different food options! We even bought the extra bundle of food, apron, money and what not that was offered but we didn’t appreciate the quality of that part of it at all. Otherwise kids love the main toy and it was worth the money!

I cannot say enough good things about this Grocery Store! My three year old absolutely loves his grocery store, and it has quickly become his favorite playtime activity. The quality is great it's incredibly sturdy and well made. Assembly was surprisingly easy. I was able to put it together in about an hour, and the instructions were simple to follow. Once set up, it looked just like a real mini grocery store, complete with a checkout counter, scanner, and shelves. What really makes this special is how it encourages creativity and role-playing. My little one loves grabbing his grocery cart, filling it up with all his play food, scanning items at the checkout, and then heading to the kitchen to cook his purchases. It's the perfect way to teach him about shopping, counting, and even social skills as he takes turns being the cashier and the customer. Melissa & Doug always deliver high-quality, thoughtful toys, and this one is no exception. Do not hesitate to order this!! It was a huge hit with my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter!! She loves it!! It is very realistic, well made and assembly was very simple. Compliment it with the Melissa and Doug Fresh Mart Companion Set for sure. There are several other sets that make a great addition to the Fresh Mart Store.

UPDATED REVIEW: My son is now 6-1/2 years old. I am contemplating selling the Grocery Store as he’s getting older and doesn’t play with it as much. This store is always a hit when friends come over to play. It’s been used and abused and still works. I uploaded a video showing the wear on the three things most people said we’re going to be an issue. After two years the register still beeps, the conveyor still rotated and the cash registers drawer still opens. This toy had stood the test of time. I WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE CONTEMPLATING THIS PURCHASE. My only regret is that I waited until my son was 4 to buy it. Oh the memories, do you know how many times I held up the place only to be shot at by my son with his nerf gun… the times the Kareoke machine loud speaker would say they found a baby and they were looking for sooo and so. The times a baby doll lost it waiting patiently for the cashier to ring people up… or the times the customer had a terrible attitude and the cashier had to calm the customers down. I loved this toy! Original Review: Purchased this via Amazon Prime Day sale for 113 with the lightening deal. It took me 1 hour and 20 minutes from start to finish to build. There were NO MISSING PIECES. The instructions were incredibly easy to follow. I never felt lost or like I missed a step while putting together. I did it all alone so I know you don’t need two people to build it. It looks adorable. I already owned a ton of the Melissa and Doug food. My son loved it. He loves playing store. He is 4 years old (51 months). 43” tall.

Putting this together Christmas Eve only to find a damaged piece that impacts the refrigerator/freezer door opening. It was our 3 year old daughters gift from Santa, so it’s not like we could stop putting it together and pack it back up for a return as she would have been left with no Santa gift. Aside from the damaged piece, everything else is great and our daughter loves it. It comes with a good amount of grocery items, and double sided labels so we can stock the shelves with other kitchen items she already has. The colors are great, it’s definitely heavy duty, weighs pretty heavy both unassembled and assembled. The kitchen seems very durable (aside from the broken piece). After the initial Christmas morning surprise, we’ve chosen to leave the door off of the refrigerator going forward, due to the damaged piece, but other than that I feel the item as a whole is very safe. It’s perfect size for our 3 year old! If it wasn’t damaged, 5 stars!

OK, so we bought this for my son a year ago for Hanukkah and it had been sitting in our garage for that entire time. I randomly decided yesterday to clean the playroom and assemble this on my own. First, big props to the folks at Melissa & Doug for such a thoughtful and easy-to-follow set of directions. The pieces are super well labeled and organized. The only tool you will need besides what’s provided is a simple screw driver. I didn’t feel like engaging my husband for help, so I used the little screw driver that comes with Ring cameras. Lazy, sure. But it worked. From start to finish with kids interrupting, it took my about an hour and a half to assemble. The components feel very durable, and my son could not wait to start playing. It looks very cute and has so many realistic features. My son is 5 and my daughter is 1.5, and it feels like a great toy for both ages.

Bought it for my daughter's 5th Birthday. She absolutely loves it! Her and her little sister enjoy role playing, and have lots of fun playing "shops". It's very well made and quite sturdy. Fairly easy to set up (every part is numbered and follows the steps). The top sign didn't quite go all the way, and I didn't want to risk breaking it, but it still sits well. It has a small scribble "signature" pad, and the scanner beeps when you "scan" an item, which is pretty cool. You gotta roll the products yourself, but kids loved doing it. Doesn't come with accessories, but there's plenty out there :) (I did get one set of the same brand to "complete the look") Overall very satisfied with the product,and kids are loving it!!

Clairement elle vaut son prix, elle me paraît robuste, mes enfants son ravis, le tapis roule le Scan bip et clignote. Niveau montage, là encore la qualité est au rendez vous, les trous sont bien faits, tout est numéroté impossible de se tromper ( et pourtant je suis vraiment mauvaise en montage de meubles) j'y suis arrivée toute seule et rapidement, alors oui elle n'est pas donnée mais franchement c'est un achat que vous ne regretterez pas et qui durera dans le temps
