Quote: "However, string and fibrous materials such as banana peel are not recommended". The photos above clearly show bananas. Could you explain?

Banana peels can be ground, just the tail of banana can not be ground, it contains fibrous.

Does this include the air switch kit including the button for installing in the worktop?

My purchase did include the air switch but this was a little while ago and it would be worth asking your supplier or manufacturer

What manufacturers guarantee does the insinkerator 66 have please

I do not understand the question well, if it is for the guarantee in Europe it is two years. It is very silent and powerful, it comes with everything necessary for the installation would lack the pipes. But bring the necessary ones to the drain.

i am replacing my model 65 with model 66 66 do i need to buy the additional plumb kit

Im not sure what you mean by plumbing kit? the waste disposal comes with fixings and a built in airswitch
