Great looking journal! Real leather, hand done and dyed. Durable and soft leather to boot. Easy to itch as well.

I bought this for my daily journaling and it's a little on the small side for that task, but I love the handmade paper interior and the leather cover and stone embellishment. The little hardware slide closure is smooth and a nice touch. Very giftable - great value for the money. The pages are 4-3/4" x 7" - I wish it was just a bit bigger (like 6x8?) but it is very nice. I'm using a fountain pen and the paper is smooth enough that it takes the ink well but rough enough to feel handmade and not cheesy.

This journal is beautiful craftsmanship. It is my gratitude journal. Easy to write in it looks great and the cover is leather. I ordered the turquoise one its beautiful and I love writing in it daily. Money very well spent.😊

Very shoddy work. I would not give this as a gift as was intended. The stone on the front was not centered and was poorly placed and made he whole thing look lopsided and cheap. The lacing was loose and so there were so many spaces where there was no dye near the laces and you see the bright turquoise dyed areas and right next to it is the undyed light leather. Looks really bad and cheaply made.

Look, you get what you pay for. This is a $13 “leather” journal, so don’t expect an artisan masterpiece. If you can let that go, then I think you’ll find it’s a nice looking journal. Basically, the way it looks in the photo. The color is really pretty and looks good with the stone. Binding and clasp are sturdy and the pages look good. I read another review that said it was sloppy, and I think that’s exactly right. It has the right aesthetic, but again, you get what you pay for and so it is overall a little sloppy. Also I had to knock off a star because I have another very similar journal from another seller (same price) which feels much more like genuine leather. As in, more like fabric. This one feels like it’s been painted and the dried paint is getting a little crispy.

This looks hand stitched with a turquoise stone embedded. Makes me want to write more beautiful thoughts too versus complaining in it because it’s so beautifully made. The lock is amazing —it depicts three dimensions +(4th)— time, when locked to me. I look at it all the time. Also, Cannot beat the price.
